i ride my bike +10km everyday since its my form of transport to work. I just wanna learn tricks and make my commute more fun. Make friends and learn how to do tricks like 180s, 360s, endo etc.... You know, ride tricks like Semenuk and Timo Pritzel.
Well sir, you're in the Urban Trials category then... thumbup.gif

Actually, tire width specs by manufacturer might lari wan and there's not standard measuring method across the board.

For example, Maxxis old skool tires like HR & Minions run small for the given size. A 2.35 is actually a 2.1 or 2.2. A Nevegal's 2.35 is almost as huge as Minion's 2.5!

I'm running Minion 2.35(F) and SB8 2.1®. Almost identical casing size, but the Minion's stud is more aggressive, making it look slightly larger.

Commencal META AM is a good choice as well. Pretty stable pedaling platform when the PP is engaged. Pretty active when it's off.

KSH boss has got a Mondraker like in the pix. Maybe you guys can ask for a test ride?

what's more important than faulty bearings is broken pawls or engagement teeth. hope can get replacement parts. cheaper brands need to change whole hub.

Added on March 16, 2012, 1:55 amoh and i would consider dt swiss hubs. under rm1k can get the ones with star ratchet hub. bullet proof, not using pawl system, wont break. and can upgrade the outer part, double the engagement points. brows.gif
*
Wow... Interesting! 48pts engagements on the DT Swiss? Price comparable to the HOPE or lower? Noise wise?
