noting something, the 50 mbps boost actually helped my wifi speed increase from the normal DL/UL of typically 8-9mbps/12-14mbps to 28-30mbps for both uploads and downloads on my phone / ipad / computer.
amazing for wifi and even more amazing speeds for torrent LOL |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Dec 27 2012, 11:33 PM) Hi Bro, greeaat!!! Yes, it's possible to move, it's called Relocation. Relocation within the same building (we called Indoor Relocation) -- RM80 Relocation to another building (we called Outdoor Relocation) -- RM120 When you need to move, you need to fill up the Service Modification Form (Modi Form). Cheers only RM120 sounds like a good deal! |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Dec 28 2012, 09:10 AM) Hi bro ... but the in-house fibre cable has to be not more than 15m too, if more than that, it'll have RM15/m charge noted noted mine is less than 5m now anyways. that means I can move in peace ^___^ time's 8mbps claims is actually valid only for download. for uploads, it goes up to 15mbps |

just to report that my upload speeds are too awesome
i subscribed to the 8mbps but i get consistently about 20-25mbps download, daily without upping the boost to 50mbps. time, please keep being generous and the Head of CS is a lady of her words. she committed to waive the 3 days i was left without service due to a cable snap, and she honored it. hazel, you have my utmost respect |

i tried to torrent last night with the situation
1. router placed with its back against the wall 2. distance laptop (with wireless-n) to router (pure wireless-n mode selected) is about 10-15 metres 3. roughly 3 other devices connected but not heavily downloading download speed for a file with roughly 1,000 seeders and leachers each is up to 2.2MB/s not bad |

Important things is how the Service provider react when problems come. Their attitude towards customers is essential when problems poped out. Yes Astro IPTV packages is using Time broadband services. Thanks for your enquiry on Time. when you have fibre, you expect it to be faultless, perfect and just working. any problems just check your own router / ONU / cable to riser. |

QUOTE(yeapch01 @ Jun 3 2014, 02:26 PM) Dear Bro why not ready? Thanks for your interest in Time fibre , currently PV 20 Setapak is not ready for Time fibre services yet. how long to be ready? the whole of setapak area don't have any Time, is it because of infrastructure issue? since it is 100% Fibre claim, does that mean that Time do not own any of the fibre in Setapak? |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Jun 3 2014, 08:29 PM) Hi Bro...how's going on..of course I remember you.... amazing answer bro Actually TIME does have infra near Setapak area, range from Jln Tun Razak, Jln Pahang & across Jln Genting Klang. But this infra is currently serving Dedicated Leased Line or P2P Leased Line, which cannot be used to serve the FTTX (FTTH / FTTO). I'd estimate it's going to be at least another 6 months or longer before it actually starts covering Wangsamaju & Setapak area. Bro, check my PM.... Cheers thanks for your great insight. love your response that does not make me look like an idiot (not ready, wait, not yet come, wait kinda answers) so... there's possibility of me leasing a line from time.... but the cost...... |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Jun 4 2014, 10:53 AM) Hi Bro, sorry le.... this kind of fibre cannot be leased for FTTX use (yr house will be FTTH)... hahaEven if Time agrees to lease 1 core, the price is sky rocket ... but since its ready, its a matter of unifi presumably to come in and get things done thanks jjjjjjjj |
