I think all of us are definitely more stressed up these days compared to 10 years ago. I also find that the methods i use isnt as effective as it was initially, probably i have gotten used to it and i would like to know new methods to destress. To help ease the stress and prevent ourselves from premature heart attack, lets share our ways of destressing! I've a few techniques to share on how to destress with RM0 spent.

The relaxation techniques for anxiety outlined below will help to relieve your mindset, relieve your thoughts and rest, once used effectively.

One of the most effective way to release stress is to practice some breathing exercises. Inhale and exhale from your diaphragm. Inhale and exhale gradually and deeply through your nose, hold the air for awhile (20-30sec)and then remove all the air through your lips.

Laughing is one of the best relaxation technique for anxiety that is quite easy, and that has also been used for years. Whether it is viewing a comedy on television, or going to see a stand-up comedy act; try and have fun more in order to reduce the anxiety you practically endure.

Meditation is also a very great technique in reducing anxiety. If you have never before meditated, no problem as it is very easy to do.

Learn how to separate down the issues that you are experiencing. If you look at all the issues that you are experiencing loaded together, then you will most likely have anxiety and have an anxiety disorder. Therefore, you master how to separate down your issues and deal with them independently, so that they are easier to deal with.

These are the methods i use when i'm really down. Whats yours? smile.gif

i love to go scuba diving when i'm stressed.
there must be something underneath the water that helps me forget my problems.
but if i go other places for holiday, it will not help much.

haha nice one.

Well I usually lower my standards and expectations whenever I'm stress you know like maybe the project deadline is looming so I'll just tell myself "it's okay not to be a perfectionist and break the rule a bit“。 Things like that. smile.gif

Go for a long walk, or a long run outside, where you could find lot of trees and fewer car. Let other people be your driver smile.gif you will have less stress.

stress level in KL is high and it's normal coz there's too many "Wu Ea Bo Jiao" people working in KL

one thing i find it very effective in reducing stress is not "avoidance" but workout instead. liftan them heavies or go out of town or best of all, karaoke singing.
