Seriously lah. Traxxas is over hyped. It's too weak in stock form (Slash 2WD), and you will need a lot of upgrades from RPM/TBR to be moderately reasonable. RTR? Tires are crap. Bottom line Slash 2WD comes with 27MHz. Yes, wtf 27MHz. That's already RM800. No 2.4GHz? Waterproof? Any cars can be made to be waterproof if you know how. What reasons do you have to get Traxxas? Only the brand I guess.

I won't be getting any TRX cars in a foreseeable future. Not because I anti-Traxxas, it's just that there are a lot more better options out there. Thunder Tiger, Hobao, Nanda, Hong Nor etc etc etc. Some cheaper brands like HBX isn't too bad as well.

HSP = Himoto = redcat = windhobby = many more

all sold lo for me truggy tak cun im still prefer monster
follow ur taste & budget u willing to spend, not like other, people driving bmw u also drive bmw.

i have play rc many years when u play brand cap ayam like hsp many people will ketuk you, im not no money to buy just dont want to have it.
last time very hot on flux, when i own it play 1month feel bored edy.
Short course 4wd u can consider quite nice, but dont for 2wd
*
How sure are you?

HSP = Main manufacturer
Himoto/RedCat/WindHobby = Distributor

Distributor gets the cars they want from various manufacturers in China, and slap on their own label. They DO NOT make their own vehicles.

2WD? Dont go for 2WD you say? To me, 2WD trains the driver to control and steering and throttle, unlike 4WD which is a no-brainer. 2WD is sensitive to tire and ground changes, but is far more rewarding trying to control it. 2WD is the perfect testament of why you dont need a stupidly powerful 9000kv motor in your SCT, instead something in the ~3000kv range would do just fine. If 2WD was that bad, there wont be a Team Durango DESC210R, Team Losi 22SCT, Team C TS2, Kyosho Ultima SC, Team Losi XXX-SCT, HPI Blitz, AE SC10 2WD or even the Venom Gambler.

I own both 2WD and 4WD SCTs, and both are good and bad in their own ways.
