Another of my cool scale FPV cockpit video driving around the park. Same location when i first used to test drive the FY03. Also include some mild off-roading. Best cockpit FPV driving i ever had with great view over the wheels and track. Check out my active suspension and see how it cling on the side wall on some part of the track. Sweet!

My latest truck project heheheh...looks familiar? brows.gif
Item (arrived in 3 days via DHL with Li-po battery): http://www.gearbest.com/rc-cars/pp_373795.html
Unboxed and did compare with my A333 aka Vaterra Twin Hammer. Both seems to have the same chassis and electronics. Plus it comes with li-po battery. The jeep like chasis (Axial wraith like body) looks cool! Can't wait to drive it this coming weekends. Will thinker around a bit and post some video later.

Woke up early in the morning enjoying some dirt and trails. This trucks has torque power but front wheel differential seems to be slippy. Will post video soon.

QUOTE(kizwan @ Jul 24 2016, 06:07 PM)
How bad it is? Is it something like when the car is climbing on uneven surface where one of the wheels touching the ground and another one hanging, the one touching the ground refuse to move?

I must say WLtoys have been step up their game. That RC car look great & the packaging look better as well. What do you think on the quality of the parts used compare to ones used in the Vaterra Twin Hammers? Especially the drive shaft, dogbones & the shock absorber?

BTW, I know some rc car that use drive shaft have motor in the middle. Did it offer stability when using high speed motor? Meaning it doesn't tend to wheelie like the rear mount motor rc car do?
*
Yup something like that but not that bad, it seems that the front differential needed to tighten a bit for more traction but it does have massive climbing power and thrust. The quality seems to be very good, i did jump around and speeding on the rough terrain it reminds me of traxxas summit. It doesn't wheely but its stable on stock motor, lots of power driving fast on off-road (scale speed). The only upgrades needed is to change the shock absorber to oil filled, real crawler tyre for more grip and also change the hex hub to plastic if you wanna bash hard. The radio unit i tested just now can drive pass more than 200m.

Below are comparison between two.

AWESOME micro size 1/35 R/C crawler!
Yay! i finally bought one...suppose to arrived early as my own Christmas present. It took me about 12 hours of build just to assemble this tiny jeep! But the final product was rewarding! I painted flat yellow, brown tops, with gun metal color fender and added some weathering like color to make the jeep body looks a bit old and worn out for scale looks. Electronic are stock except with upgraded alloy wheelsets and knobby tyres. Will post my cool video in action later.

Btw just go ahead enjoy my gallery photo of my 1/35 scale Orlandoo OH35A01 4WD Jeep build here: http://www.supermotoxl.com/resources/galle...a01-4wd-crawler
Will dump more photos and media soon. smile.gif

Today i workout on tidy up the wiring, remove heavy stuff and lower the CG. Now the interior Jeep looks well arranged, tidy and the lower CG helped the Jeep to have better side ways tilt angle for stable crawling. The weight also been reduced too which makes it easy to climb obstacles. Will post another video in action again soon to show much of its improvement after some mods.

Sharing my other project to compliment the recent Orlandoo Jeep. Just completed my micro size 1:40 scale 4x4 Hummer R/c crawler based on Yokomo nanoqlo kit. Here's direct comparison between the popular 1:35 scale Orlandoo OH35A01 Jeep and 1:40 scale Nanoqlo mod kit the Hummer.
