I think he said it's the bundle price with the SSD.
RM928 = U2312HM + M4 128GB
RM158x = GTX570 + M4 128GB

Better go double check with them as well as whether 3/5 years warranty for the LCD.

Even his SSD alone has the best price around biggrin.gif

For 128GB crucial m4 , it'll be around 390-430 depending on who you get it from...

Honestly , it's WORTH every single penny you pay wink.gif

Guys I'm planning to use a intel 330 series 120GB as my main and only storage drive, with no HDD. The thing is, how much space will be needed for all the 'necessary' softwares and programmes such as windows 7 , and other complulsory programmes ? I'm assuming my games/movies/songs will take around 30-40GB . Will 120GB be enough?

Yes, it may be enough. My Windows 7 and Program Files takes about 30-40GiB as well.

But please don't expect your 120GB SSD to have 120GiB of capacity. Most 120GBs have only 111.7GiB of actual capacity. This is because of a unit conversion issue, 1GB = 0.976GiB.

Oh, ok, thanks for your info smile.gif . I will add another 120GB when I have the means to .

Using Corsair Force 3 120GB here, im a heavy gamers

the stuff i install on the HDD

OS
Startup program such as Antivirus, MSN
some minor software - flash, java, winrar, quicktime, power dvd..etcetc
Some software like photoshop, lightroom, CorelDraw
no music or video save in this HDD
No game or whatsoever (Solitaire doesnt count)

current remaining HDD space are 24GB

why does it eat so much???
Thanks to the years and years of gaming save game file that cannot transfer other than C drive, (My document, Appdata, ProgramData), MSN chat log, gazillion of software log file that i cant understand. I do delete those folder software that I didnt use anymore. I backup the whole save game and sofware folder.

So if you are heavy gamers like me.... 1Tb wont be enough biggrin.gif best plan your HDD ahead

oh may i remind you that todays, smart phone and ipad (or any tablet) auto backup the whole content into your PC? and yeah, its more annoying now that i have to manually cancel it each time. Last time when i still using normal HDD i just let it slide and i do other thing instead. Since todays video and picture all in HD, it can take your HDD space in a blink.

Meaning no SSD for me at the moment? sad.gif

depend on how much you play games, and how much you can afford
Usually games, they just install OS on SSD, and the rest on WD Black HDD

if cases like using laptop for gaming, you know its gonna be very limited to the games u can play on it.

All depend on user, as for me, i calculate how much space i am using 1 right now then add extra space on it, that my answer (Last time i calculated min use already 80GB so i go for 120GB, if my wallet allow, i got for something around 200+GB)
*
Well, I'll just be playing around 3 games at the moment so Im guessing it would be enough . When I have a HDD or another 120GB then I'll start playing a couple more games...

Understand those price cuts aren't the subjected price cuts that Intel has in store for August. Those are just price cuts from Newegg themselves that lasts over the weekend only.

Newegg has always placed weekend discounts on the products they are selling throughout the years.
Which version of IRST do you have installed? By right, it shouldn't slow down your PC at all. It should in fact give you a speed improvement.
If you need it now, as always Crucial M4 and Intel 330 are good choices. Both can be gotten at around the RM400 mark.

Rumours are saying that there will be price drop in August ...

IMO if you often dealing with compressible files, 330 will do.
else, M4 or 830 will do.

Care to explain more? Thanks..

Guys, if I fill up 90% of SSD space , will it decrease it's lifespan / slows it down or any negative effect to the SSD?
