I am planning to buy a SSD but with my rig like that. is it ok? I mean the Power Supply and my mobo.

Intel P8Z77-M
Kingston Value 1333 ram 4GB x2
Silverstone Strider 500W PSU

And I heard that the size of pagefile.sys takes up a lot of space (2.5 times your RAM). So if I have 8gb ram then it takes up 20gb on there? And Windows 7 takes like around 12gb. So if I buy 40gb SSD is it enough to install optional apps like Word, RealPlayer, internet browser all that?

40GB is sufficient for small applications. If u wish to install games and the restm better install it in another drive.

I don't think i will install game in there. Only maybe some important apps and antivirus. So is it ok?
