ur guide is applicable for mk16i only or xperia 2011?

wat do u mean by spyware? how u know tat from onava? there is no point having spyware as systemui is just the statusbar thingy..

i only install systemui from partC, without battery % icon. so far so good.

open the PartC rar file, under system/apps/SystemUI.apk, copy and replace that copy into /system/app/SystemUI.apk in ur PRO. remember to backup a copy of the stock SystemUI.apk in ur sdcard before u do so. after replacing the custom 1 in ur /system, edit the permission like what i put in the tutorial. after that u open and move the Quickpanelsetting.apk from the PartC rar to ur sdcard, use apk installer to install that apk. then restart ur PRO. done.

tat 1 im not sure as i dun have 3G running in my call plan.cant help u...

oh btw, i found out even if the screen lock is there, we can still pull down the statusbar panel..and that is very annoying..

there are plenty and im having one in my PRO now. but regarding stock icons im not sure. and what is clock bug?

regarding uninstalling previous and installing new 1, u need to overwrite the SystemUI.apk with the stock systemui.apk (which u should be keeping an archive in ur sdcard). and regarding clock bug is actually due to the custom systemui.apk u installed previously, it did not clear the bug properly after u installed the latter systemui.apk. im not sure if i got the info right or not, yet im using custom icon from hansip87 also.

1. root ur unit.
2. locate back the stock systemui.apk which supposingly it should be in ur sdcard (if u did keep a copy of the stcok systemui.apk in ur sdcard before u replaced it with the custom one last time).
3. use apk installer to install the stock systemui.apk.
4. restart ur unit.

bro, do not confuse me. statusbar is actually the bar that u drag it down from above the lcd. and quickpanel bar is actually the add-on buttons for u to shortcut to the toggles. our android comes with statusbar. in cases of wrong installation due to incompatible quickpanel systemui.apk, u might lost ur statusbar (which i encounter before because i installed gingerbread's beta quickpanel and the whole statusbar gone after a restart).

to interchange icons for the quickpanel buttons, i do not have the idea of altering that as that is a dev job.

that systemui.apk comes with a modded battery icon. if prefer those without custom battery meter, better source back the topic and get the link which is under optional.

anyone with non-modded ICS on PRO, can try if u can slide down the statusbar even if the screen is locked? initially i suspect was the quickpanel installation which caused the script being altered..yet..no proof to say so now..during GB, no such issue happened.

if im not wrong, there is no zoom function.

consider bug. as we cannot slide down the statusbar when the screen is locked. but in our case, we CAN. and this is annoying coz it should be SCREEN LOCKED.

i think the quickpanel did altered the script. if we need to remove the bug, i think we need to clean the whole ICS from scratch aka reflash it. deng..

however i got a restorepoint before i install quickpanel, if im not wrong.

deng..my restore point isnt perfect. it was the point where i recover back my statusbar after i lost if during an installation with a GB beta version systemui.apk quickpanel..

haish..nvm la..just bear with it 1st.

anyone here know how to backup apps in android market? is it by sync-ing it with gmail?

not lucky mang..that restore point aint good..the earlier one will be those without apps installed, clean ICS with root and CWM only..deng..it does bother as i did accidentally slided it down and on the wifi and bt toggle, and drain my batt for phucking sacks..ddddiiiuuuu...i like to be perfect and clean (without bugs) for my stuff.



u sure pattern lock can solve the issue? coz it is about sliding down the statusbar..sliding screen lock and the pattern lock are just locks...i dun think it will stop u from sliding down the statusbar...

i dun prefer launchers as that eats ram, m i correct?

pattern lock as in the AOSD (did i get the spelling right?), like samsung's?
