flashing and rooting was like 1 year ago for me...so i came back to ask a noob question.

with CWM recovery due to the previous rooting on my .58 firmware, is it possible for me to just dl the RAR file for ICS PRO and extract it just like any custom roms from CWM?

dem..then tat will be a long job for me liaw..flashtool still on queue for dl, update service centre not applicable coz unlocked bootloader, then have to dl the ftf again..my tenet cannot go tat fast pun..2xxmb ler..adeh..  

but seriously speaking, i dun need to relock it if i use flashtool, right? ur suggestion to relock is to enable back FOTA, right?

i was thinking it will be the same as not every relock and FOTA, that is why flashtool is available in xda..will try on flashtool method. never used flashtool b4, but hopefully it doesnt give me the headache. but to be true, relock and FOTA can provide a better fw for the unit, right? say im using a THORUS set now, so by right it should be a nice, suitable ICS for a malaysian unit?

i got apps running with t&c requiring unlock BL..so if i relock, my unit will not hang by right, yes? or should i take away that app first??

got two choice then,its up to you. relock,and FOTA. or download flashtool and the .ftf i think it will be remain unlocked. i before this playing this stuff on htc,so i think not the same as the sony
as the htc is s-off,and in term of sony is unlocked bootloader

something like mandarin input and support feature might not be available for foreign ICS fw, so by relocking and FOTA, Sony can provide me a better and suitable fw for ICS, i guess?

i used the SE way to unlock, the codes..so what i read now, there is no way to relock it back properly..the TS of that topic even said we need to re-unlock it back again..i dun get what he is talking about either..if relocking and unlocking can be so easy, then after relocking, should i unlock it back?

as long we can FOTA, who cares about DRM, right? then after that we can unlock it back again, but not with the SE method, right?

just finished update to ics ..

Since i updated to ICS, my internet connection getting faster.. Idk why.. Using umobile broadband and my quota ended already.. In GB, capped speed is 100kbps but in ICS , got 1.5mbps..
