ics is cool and steady,,,

ram available at start up is 170 + compared to GB which offers 180+ ram...which is not much diff and i am happy with

updated to ICS. the performance is good and overall is acceptable.

worth for the wait.

yesterday night has been most exciting

tried this and almost got heart attack because my phone brick for a while. really

my fault actually, i forgot to double check the kernel file i download. and i flash a corrupted kernel file to my phone. and my phone become brick. can't charge, can't fastboot, can't flash boot. and worse, no wotan server to help me. luckly for me, somehow the phone miraclely can be charge after a while. really i almost got heart attack. im thinkin what if the phone really brick?

now after my phone can be charge, and can be fastboot, i flash it with correct kernel (after double check the file - he dont give md5 checksum so i need to double download the file just to make sure) and viola. rooted ICS for me too.



p/s: my point is, if you guys try to flash rom/kernel, update to ICS or root, whatever it is, please double check your file. some uploader give md5 checksum which is good, but for those who doesn't give md5 checksum, just make sure to doublecheck everything to play safe. sometimes you are lucky everything goes smooth , sometimes not so lucky that there is lump and bump but eventually you'll get there, but there are still risk that you might lose your phone

i say sony did a great job in ics

my RAM usage is 230mb always standby.. if open apps 300+ HAHA~
slight delay abit when opening settings, and the performance asst mcm xdak guna also ==" XD
gallery mmg tiptop XD like windows mobile like that. smooth~
then developers options (y) imba
i dint see the standard theme yet. cuz i using go launcher >< lazy to reset it and check out the ICS one
i give it 8/10..

ya...performance assit is not as useful as i thought...

anyway a little tips...hold the home button will open the recent apps....slide left or right the app to CLOSE them and thereby free up some ram....

this is a cool ics feature...can really close app now rather than put it in background

got option also in developers option
when u click home during the app
the app auto close, not standby in background

now ur tip is more useful....wahahahahahaha

somehow i miss the old GB style of dialler pad ><

1 thing cool bout ICS
it added several transitions into it
like when rotating screen XD it literally rotate it which makes it less lag
then when u click the "on off backlight widget"
the backlight slowly on not like GB straight on which i think good for the screen XD
the lock screen smexy
and the screen i feel like suddenly so sensitive idk why which is nice

they also change the time thingy XD
when u want to set the time
more SEXY
