I really wonder if I should continue the wait for lumia 900. 800 is tempting enough already.

Lumia 900 has so far had positive reviews.
Battery should last up to 1 and a half day after full charge. Camera Quality is comparable, or eve better than 4S. Build quality, what more to praise than the unibody design? But i'm trying to understand the "lip" feeling that they have on the body. Heavier than 800, but feels sturdier too. Said to be compared to a Note and SII, that the 900 feels "safer" to it. I can't remember the negatives of the phone. There were some though. |

QUOTE(pikacu @ Apr 2 2012, 03:06 PM) Itu lah. But I think aspire2006 can answer that rather than me. because after the 12070 update, the camera was also improved for the 800.I couldn't view the shots, but check out forum.wmpoweruser.com for the reviews that I mentioned. Added on April 2, 2012, 3:13 pmI just wanna know the price, because if it's around RM 1800, then still acceptable. This post has been edited by Kyoyagami: Apr 2 2012, 03:13 PM |

I would be one of those rare people who believe that specs don't mean much.

WP Central says the camerea is a little letdown though. WMPoweruser also echoes the same sentiment with their slow roll out review. |

For so many people to ask the same question, shouldn't we be asking Nokia Malaysia instead?

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Apr 5 2012, 11:00 AM) All the review are honest except the camera part. I been enjoying the Nokia Lumia 800 camera so cant be Nokia Lumia 900 would be worse But looking at the samples taken, they do look like the camera has not really been that impressive. Or we're just easily satisfied with the quality. haha.Tech Republic did a review specifically for Business and IT Pros. Seems to ring true that if you have lots of use on Microsoft programmes, you should consider switching to a Lumia. If not, then, it's still a hard buy. |

It bugs me that the 610 is coming in the following weeks (May) to our shores, and there's no news on 900.

Owh hey! I just noticed we also have the 8773 build of WP7.5. That means Mango refresh is in, along with Internet Tethering. Not that I need them, but nice!

Ok, got my internet upgraded to 1gb, i hope that's enough, and maxis was helpful to guide me on the internet settings.
If you log in to their online portal, they have instructions on te Lumia 900. Which was kinda cool seeing as they haven't offered the phone yet. But i've got a query though. Anyone managed to check if say that we have wifi and mobile network connected, which one would the phone take priority on? Or is there a setting for that? Added on June 10, 2012, 9:20 pmFinally found the reason why Whatsapp is slow in getting notifications. Usually, I would ensure that in the background there are no tasks anymore. So, there'd just be the Tiles screen. But this is considered as "closing" the whatsapp application. Unlike in other phones (like my old 5800), this app won't fetch data if it's not available in the background. But hey, what's the harm in leaving it at the background. Not that it would hurt the OS. QUOTE(bendonarticx @ Jun 11 2012, 09:32 AM) Haven't actually purchased one. Didn't see the need to at the moment. The good thing for me was having a Singapore ID, somehow the App Highlights showed me Malaysian apps. So I ahve a limited number of Malaysian apps while full access to singapore apps. |
