It's the hardware and software thing. A lot of things are different between Windows Phone 7.x and Windows Phone 8.x
Now, Windows 8.x is seriously in the right path. The time to go for Windows Phone devices has come. nod.gif

You are losing a lot in terms of the internal hardware component. You're comparing a single core A8 with an A15 based Dual-Core. A very huge improvement if you'd asked me. smile.gif
