1265/7100 on air, fan 100% A/C room...might wanna try higher core but Max Vcore only 1263mV so I guess no more room left sad.gif..but hey no artifacts observed biggrin.gif

Ya, no doubt bout that..maybe later will do WC for GPUs only, gaming at 1220MHz/1700MHz Far Cry3 1440p ultra +4xMSAA so far no problem 2hr+..nice card indeed thumbup.gif

no idea but i'd rather not do that even if it's possible if jutst to OC..not worth it, somemore where you can get an extra chip by itself since we're just end user? laugh.gif

With a good temperature < 55C you will not get the artifacts.
Watercooling make it possible. smile.gif

But my artifact occur even my temp is juz 70C which i don't think is high enough to cause it.
V at 1.3v. as well board li-on +20.
i assume the chip has hit the wall at that clock sad.gif

I dont think it hit the wall already bro, once you put on waterblock and temp stayed below 55deG under full load, pretty sure that those artifacts will gone for good. I've tried on few of my prev 7970s where the graphics will start to artifacts once temp exceed 56-58'C on high OC but when I put on waterblock it is gone..same clock, same voltage but at different temp smile.gif

whoa. means to get the full potential/wall of the gc, it needs to be under <55C hmm.gif
thxs for the great info. change my perception on the gc oc ability.

shocking.gif , your score even higher than mine at 1200MHz? Because even your cpu clock also lower than mine so its kinda weird that your score higher than mine unless diff driver used...may I know which driver you're using in this test bro? is it latest catalyst 13.11 beta8?

anyone has a 7970 dc2T card?
i tried flash the bios to NON TOP which OCN member claimed it's unlocked voltage
so i can adjust the GPU voltage, but i got 2 different reading between ASUS GPU tweak and MSI afterburner
i tried rise the voltage to 12xx mv but the asus gpu tweak reading still stay at 1090mv max

Just wondering as if anyone getting the directX "DeviceRemoved" error for bf4 under GPU OC circumstances.

note: Using single 7970 card (1125/1580)

I'm using 280x which is the same as yours..always run BF4 under High OC and never encounter that error, have you try update to latest beta driver, directX also up to date?

Latest beta 9.2 has some serious stuttering issues and unable to revert back to older driver, therefore I did not give the update a try. directX is up to date. As I've researched, it's the OC issue that causing this error. Someone told me that the MSI Afterburner doesn't engage 3d volts in BF4 due to 64 bit.

Maybe because I'm using Asus GPU tweak..give it a try, or can also opt for sapphire TrixX?
