yeaah my heart lifted a little after seeing this. High chances xperia s is going to be cheap.

And about the non removable battery, i see its the trend nowdays. Almost all manufacturers coming up with new phones with non removable batteries. Save space prbably?

maybe the reason the phone is releasing after WMC is because of the logo then ... or the brand. Since they just acquire the company...

i dont see the problem with the non removable batteries, unless the phone gets jam frequently and theres no way to restart it like the old phones.

yeah but many ppl make it a big fuss. but as far as i can see almost all new phones come with non removable battery? times are changing, people should change perspective also.

on the other hand. i want this phone to be released faaast. can't wait to see how the camera performs.

that's the point.. not like we like taking battery off because it's fun, just to force off on restart..(yea i'm tech-noob like that)
memory card is veeeery convenient also.. haihh.

Awesomeeee!
I guess it will be RetailPrice RM1699! biggrin.gif
But just for realistic, RM1799 should be much closer.

Correct, whats the point of removable battery? Its not like we are going to remove and slot it back everyday at least once right. I personally felt designers are not stupid so trust them thumbup.gif Sony's R&D might just discover the extreme LOW probability of end users to remove the battery. Maybe its time to change.

Custom rom it is always at our own risk right. They dont encourage end users to do so too btw. laugh.gif

Well, I've decided I'm getting this no matter what the price. Was struggling with the fact that I'd have to get a Samsung till this was announced.

I won't be getting the Vita till it's released officially in MY so that's one thing off my mind.

Then we'll see what comes out in July and September. If there's a flagship release, then I'll get that too and sell this one off.

Now just waiting till March is going to kill me!

I don't trust the designer that well.. I still see there will be times, at least once, one will be taking the battery off to force switch off. Otherwise, what? Get stuck/hang, leave it till morning next day, then have to take to service centre or something? laugh.gif Well, I dunno, correct me if i'm wrong..

Very likely I will get this as my first smartphone too, despite that I hated irremovable batt, & no card slot (one of the reason I like Ion more! >_< ..I'd trade transparent strip to card slot/removable batt any day).. but may take sometime to read reviews and study android/smartphone stuff first. smile.gif

according to this white paper from the dev., the

Memory
Internal phone storage Up to 1.8 GB
RAM 1 GB

anyone can explain to me, what's the different between "internal phone storage" and "flash memory"?

in which memory the apps are default install into?
