High chances xperia s is going to be cheap. eBuyer http://www.ebuyer.com/340785-mob-sony-lt26...i-blk-1257-3114 And about the non removable battery, i see its the trend nowdays. Almost all manufacturers coming up with new phones with non removable batteries. Save space prbably? |

maybe the reason the phone is releasing after WMC is because of the logo then ... or the brand. Since they just acquire the company...

i dont see the problem with the non removable batteries, unless the phone gets jam frequently and theres no way to restart it like the old phones.

QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Feb 1 2012, 09:30 AM) UK430(Including 20% VAT) = RM16XX(Excluding VAT) Awesomeeee!eBuyer http://www.ebuyer.com/340785-mob-sony-lt26...i-blk-1257-3114 I guess it will be RetailPrice RM1699! But just for realistic, RM1799 should be much closer. QUOTE(notoriousfiq @ Feb 1 2012, 01:28 PM) and easier for designers in making the thickness smaller QUOTE(notoriousfiq @ Feb 1 2012, 04:53 PM) that's the point.. not like we like taking battery off because it's fun, just to force off on restart..(yea i'm tech-noob like that) Correct, whats the point of removable battery? Its not like we are going to remove and slot it back everyday at least once right. I personally felt designers are not stupid so trust them memory card is veeeery convenient also.. haihh. QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Feb 1 2012, 05:46 PM) Sometimes if the custom Android ROM u use is not stable how? Can't remove battery lol.. stuck forever Custom rom it is always at our own risk right. They dont encourage end users to do so too btw. |

Well, I've decided I'm getting this no matter what the price. Was struggling with the fact that I'd have to get a Samsung till this was announced. I won't be getting the Vita till it's released officially in MY so that's one thing off my mind. Then we'll see what comes out in July and September. If there's a flagship release, then I'll get that too and sell this one off. Now just waiting till March is going to kill me! |

I don't trust the designer that well.. I still see there will be times, at least once, one will be taking the battery off to force switch off. Otherwise, what? Get stuck/hang, leave it till morning next day, then have to take to service centre or something?
Very likely I will get this as my first smartphone too, despite that I hated irremovable batt, & no card slot (one of the reason I like Ion more! >_< ..I'd trade transparent strip to card slot/removable batt any day).. but may take sometime to read reviews and study android/smartphone stuff first. |
