It stands for clockworkmod recovery which is an extended version of stock recovery
Booting into recovery mode allows you to :
- clear cache partition, dalvik cache
- backup/restore rom
- flash kernel, modem or rom
- clear data/factory reset
- partition your internal sd

guys, any other alternate link that can download the official samsung firmware beside sammobile? bcause the hotfile use by sammobile only can get 10KB/s in a unifi 5m connection

Dear All,

Just to share the knowledge.
I did some research for days and test on my TMRND Black router/modem with my galaxy note.
Afer adjust some of the setting, it work fine on Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook app, Youtube.

You can try the below setting, hope it help you.

1.) Login to your router.
Open Internet Explorer, type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar
(192.168.0.1 is the default setting, unless you change the IP)
2.) Goto 'Wireless' Tab, Click the 'Advance'
3.) Change the DTIM to 1

If still got problem, Play aroudn the setting in 'Wireless' -> 'Basic':
(You need to change these setting to test around)
1.) Change the Channel to 8 or other number.
2.) Change the Band Width to 20 Mhz
3.) Change the Mode to 802.11BG or 802.11BG

try check fus that was recommended by a forummer earlier. must faster.

It's made by a group of people - no point pushing. Just follow the thread in xda-developer and see if you want to try their releases.

For the official ICS update, your guess is as good as mine (i.e. no idea whatsoever).

first time my galaxy note crash while playing GTA 3

ur download done yet?....it took 2hrs+ on a streamyx 1mbps line..
i can upload to other servers (filesonic or megaupload)....

Just order the [TRIDEA] GALAXY NOTE CASE FLIP DIALY STYLE(Polyurethan + poly carbonate) from Maker4u, hopefully can safely arrive b4 CNY!!!

First Impression...SUPER SMOOTH!!
After 4 hours putting it into deep sleep there no declining in battery usage at all!
I thought it was an error but after I ON my Data, then i can see the battery power dropping.
What a battery Saver!
