Take Pure Chemistry if you want to do research or working in lab..

Take Chemical Engineering if you want to be engineer..

As for hard to find job..? Based on my batch at ukm, most of pure chem student continue study master, only few geting job.. But I study chemical technology.. Most of my coursemate become engineer..
