hi..at my area,i can get full signal, but sometime i got lot of packet loss (request time out)and ping spike randomly.now im using zte mf 680...so do you have any antenna that could fix this problem.tq

Hi there

Panel and Yagi Antennas are mono-directional, which maximizes transmission distances.
Commonly used outdoor for direction finding, remote communication.
It is used to point at the nearest cell tower if your entire area is affected by low or poor reception/signal.
This will improve speed, reception, signal and stability.

Omni Antenna is multi-directional with 360 ° radiation.
Being multi-directional, it is also suitable for use as a repeater or for a network base station too.
Commonly used for covering range in near distance.
It is also used to prevent blockages where your area is with good coverage but due to blockage you're facing low signal or reception.

All our antennas can be found at http://andrewsestore.com/store/accessories...al-antenna.html

According to your description, we believe our mono-directional antenna should aid you to prevent your problem.

Hi there!

I'm using Huawei E355 and the maxis signal in my house area is very bad. Normally I would get 3/5 bars and less on my iPhone. However, my modem detected the signal is "strong", but when trying the speed test I only managed to get less than 1Mbps average. Same goes to my iPhone.

Please recommend the best antenna for me.

Hi there

What about your speed outside of your house?

Hi there!

Forgot to mention, the situation I posted just now was in my room upstairs. At downstairs I can hardly get 3G but 2G signal. Same goes to the outside of my house.

I believe I can only get better signal when I'm in my room upstairs.

Hi, Any testimonies on this item? I'm using Huawei E398. Thanks. smile.gif

Hi there

Just wondering if your current signal is poor or acceptable ?
You need to find out if your entire area is facing such speed or you are facing blockage to determine the suitable one from our description below.

a) OMNI - multi directional
- used to prevent blockages where your area is with good coverage but due to blockage you're facing low signal or reception.

b) Yagi or panel - mono directional
- used to point at the nearest cell tower if your entire area is affected by low or poor reception/signal. This will improve speed, reception, signal and stability.

All the above types are for 3G only.

Performance or improvement varies based on network infrastructure at the connected area.

hi there,

I bought the yagi antenna from you, but the cable connecting to the modem is too short because I plan to put the antenna outside. Do you sell a longer cable?

Thanks
*
Hi there

Unfortunately that is the cable length recommended by our supplier as the longer the cable may result in greater signal loss.

In the same time, we don't sell additional cables at the moment.

Hope that helps.

Thank you

Hi andrewdavid,

Now i using my Galaxy S3 as modem to online from my laptop and tablet. Basically the connection is just ok in my house with sometime hard to get the connection. But i can get good connection outside my house.

I want to buy portafi/mifi complete with antenna. Please advice the best combination.

I prefer to have mifi which can be use without battery while in the house.
*
Hi there

If you want something without battery and portable, you can opt for any of our USB Dongle Modem Routers (except Huawei E8131 - no external antenna slot) as per the link below.
Link: http://andrewsestore.com/store/network-dev...dem-router.html

As for the antenna, according to your description our OMNI antennas should suit your purpose.

Hi

For the 10dBi OMNI antenna with SMA-male connector which will suit your Huawei B683 directly.

If you want to use it with USB Modem or MiFi Modem Router, you will need to buy additional connectors such as CRC9 or TS9 at additional RM20each.
