if u use alcohol then:
-insert your cd
-select create image wizard (something like that)
-choose the drive where u insert the CD (incase u have multiple CD drive)
-then select where to save the image
-then wait till it finish

You mean the image size itself is larger than 2 DVD (say 7.5GB) and you'll need to split it into two/

First of all what is the content inside your image file? Is it the DVD format that is readily playable already?

its 5.32gb video file n iso format. does nero can burn it 2 dvd r? if da file is vob o mdf o img oso can use nero izzit?

anyway, your image file sounds like its a dual-layer image file. probably can fit into those 9gb dual layer dvds.
otherwise, u can use something like magiciso to split the image into 2...

have u tried mounting the 5 gb file on daemontools, and seeing if content is valid?

which one u use,alcohol or ultra iso?

Alternatively, you can also use Nero for image creation which can then be mounted with Alcohol/Daemon.

Hi guys, need your help here.

Just bought the Benq dvd writer that supports dual layer burning. bought some verbatim dvd+r DL dvds and when i inserted it into the drive, Nero still recognise the dvd as 4.5GB. how do i make it to recognise 8.5gb?

tried doing a search on the forum regarding dual layer but dint find anything related to this.

Let take example u try to backup data. Open Nero express, click data. Then u go inside the disc content for you to add the data. Below there a bar for you to check your current disc space, 2000MB, 4000MB.... at the right hand side there a box for u to choose either 8152MB (DL) or 4483MB(SL)

Juz asking something, i havent read tru all but juz a simple question, if i mount an ISO file using daemon, then i copy DVD using nero, copy from the virtual daemon drive and burn into dvd, can work?

But the faster way is directly burn the disc using the ISO image.

u use the direct burn really more safer in case there got a bad block in 1 of the image file, then will burn fail ler.

Ic ic thx for info. Deno why i cant use the latest versoin of nero, will auto shut down nero sometimes when choosing file to burn. I now using version 6.6.0.19 dun have iso burning like the latest version.
