Hi,

Just got my apple tv yesterday.wanna ask a couple of questions.

1)How can i watch netflix? I cant even register because it says my payment option is not valid.
2) manage to browse through hulu plus but i cant stream the video because it says it can only be play within US region. I'd already setup my apple tv using tunlr DNS though.

What should i do?

Alright bro, my netflix is up and running great now..found out that maybank cc is good to use already.
Thought we need to use US cc or something.

So confused ..i got email from apple saying they im subscribed through itunes but when i checked at netflix website it just stated my CC as payment option..no itunes there..

u mean deduct my itunes credit or maybank cc..cause i got netflix subscription right now in my itunes account.
Just scared they charged me both on cc and itunes credit..

Thats why i confused right now..cos i got netflix subscription in my itunes (got auto renewal somemore) but when i checked at netflix website the payment option got only my CC..i suppose it should stated subsribe through itunes there.

Btw i register my netflix through apple tv..but it said something about my payment option is not valid. Thats why i register my Maybank CC in netflix website. After that only i can login into netflix.

Well, all fellow ATV 3 user..i think we can give up our hope for the jailbreak already. After all we are the minority group of apple user. No one will care for us.

Netflix + Airplay + Plex media server is already enough for me.

1 week trial should be enough for you to decide..for me i go with netflix.hulu seems too boring for me..cheers!

Thats because u didnt connect to the internet yet..set your internet first in the setting menu then u will see all the icons..

What other VPN can we used other than unblock us and tunlr? Just curious..

Yup.. RM30/month definitely not worth it.. So got anymore cheaper VPN other than this?

Great...it's my second month on netflix now. Netflix charged my Maybank CC instead of my itunes credit. Charged me $8.55 including tax somemore.
I also got email from Apple to renew my netflix subscription. I dunno why..it's like my apple id did not tally with netflix account eventhough the ID I used is the same.
BTW i cannot login to netflix if i used my apple id password.

Doesnt state anything about netflix in the update released note.

U can view mkv file on apple tv using media server app..for now i use plex app (can be downloaded from the appstore) to stream mkv movies to my ipad then airplay it to apple tv.
Maybe other forumer got simpler solution can share with us..? cheers
