from your experiences, how is it like playing 1080p videos using apple tv 2nd generation using xbmc?

i want to buy one the 2nd generation instead of the new 3rd generation just to jailbreak it. is it still jailbreakable now that new firmware released?

thanks, thats i already knew. just that i want to know how was it. is it same as 720p or more sharper maybe? smooth playing or lag? or not worth it?

i have apple tv 2, jailbroken since 2010. i install atv flash black, streaming almost all movies from my synology server contents. ATV flash black will catalog my movies in a cool manner.. download all movie poster automatically, display synopsis, plus ability to download subtitle for my movie. the media player layout looks almost like apple existing features. it can play 99% of my movies. english movies usually no problem, new anime with special codec or 1080p may experience shuttering & skipping.
all i have to do is using my iPhone from anywhere in the world to download movie or series by the synology server, when i arrive home, my apple tv catalog them nicely & i can view it right away.
i once buy the xtreamer prodigy and some android media player but got very disappointed with everything they offer. my appletv is far more stabile & superior than other media player. you can see that people are selling apple tv2 in ridicules price & even expensive than the new apple tv3.
