Man regret not getting another one to replace Wii during the sales! Only RM288. Any idea when there would be another sale this year? Or just wait for ATV4 if ever there is a new version.

What is the newest rumours about ATV4? Was supposed to have some new info by end of March.

I need one more so thinking whether worth it to wait anymore or not. Don't like using the Wii for the other room.

The rumors were an announcement at end of March but they didn't say anything at the last Apple update. It may be pushed back since rumored tying in with Comcast, but how would that affect the international market? Will it be a US-only product? Who knows.

Rumors is that it is a set-top cable box tying in with Comcast service. Comcast has been going after streaming services like Netflix in the US, throttling their customers until Netflix agreed to pay them to stop it. I'm not sure why Apple would want to box themselves in like that.

There have also been rumors of a full Apple TV set.

I'm sure when i break down and go buy another ATV3 they will announce something the next week

Is there a difference iTunes Malaysia vs US - for movies? Like is it 'ditapis' if purchased on iTunes MY? I know music it is edited (bleeped out) even if special/full edition. Thanks.

Rental is cheap. $0.99 weekly special, usually $2.99-5.99.

Purchasing overall is cheaper than buying DVD, especially for older movies that I want to re-watch. There are weekly specials of $9.99 based on actor (this week is Liam Neeson, all in HD) or specials ("Hijacking & Hostage Movies" HD, this week). Malaysia iTunes may have less specials like there's only a $2.99 special price weekly movie.

So far the difference I've seen with Malaysia one does not have English subtitles but has all other languages.

Love the convenience though.

Oh I definitely subbed to Netflix and Hulu - though after the annual cycle am going to stop Hulu. Netflix movies that I seem to want to watch are all their DVD only service (US only).

So far no 'tapis' on iTunes MY .. but certain titles that can be objectionable may not be listed. Smaller library. Like the movie "End of Days" is on iTunes US but not on MY.

I suggest that you buy it. With Apple products if you wait, you'll keep waiting. The price doesn't drop all that much either. Just buy and enjoy now. Then sell off later or use it for another room.
