The last try was done because I have efs backup (tons of them) but ktool or any other program can't read them for some weird reason:
1. Full wipe using CWM
2. Factory wipe (even with usb storage but efs backup move them to laptop)
3. Put in efs backup and install any other rom to install terminal emulator
4. Follow the method to restore efs backup on 1st page post #6 by uncle benny
5. Walaa~ Magic

any app can using wifi,bluetooth or usb cable instead of hdmi?

High five! We on same usage pattern, I charge mine every 2 days on checkrom. But so far nid charge everyday with CM9 but ICS too pretty to let go n go back to ugly old gb

Anyone that use CM9 and complain have battery drain fast u can use this tip i get from xda forum, with this tips my battery drain only 20 - 30% for 12 hours and can last for 1 day

What is the cheapest clear sp and yet very good, in terms that the plastic will stick to the phone and won't come off after a few months. I have not come across any cheap sp that will turn yellowish or turn colour. Currently I hv the matte one, but the view is not that nice. Like I can see a lot of small little pixels, which I don't really like.

If I peal off my matte sp, can i keep it for other use?

Know we can use hotspot, but was looking at CWM tether app. Apparently "You also won’t be needing to worry about extra data charges, for the ClockworkMod Tether app works under stealth and avoids detection by mobile carriers"

I know in the states they have a separate tether plan, so this bypasses that. But was wondering for us in M'sia, does that mean it won't use our [insert number] GB of quota as well? Just wondering

My sgs2 is an ap unit, never had unexplainable reboots (last time had cuz i used ninpo kernel that has UVing which my phone hated). AP unit just difference in warranty, other than that no difference

very easy. use cwm to backup ur current setting.

then the downloaded file u extract to ur cwm file at storage. Then restore frm cwm and chose the extracted file.

Yeah using transparent hard cover with 2k mah batt . Now just need something to fit near the camera area.

strange, yesterday after cached the area i still can see the roads etc.. today open google maps but the area is empty with only grid lines.. go to Cache settings and it says Current cache size is 0B. I didn't clear the cache also.. the pre-cached map areas still has the cached location name stored though.. sien

My CM9 has face unlock working perfectly.

I have a weird situation here. My phone could not connect to my college wifi, but my friends ipod touch and another friends GS1 could connect. I tried my account on their devices and can login. But their account on mine also cannot login.

The wifi was 802-11-EAP. Must enter username and password to connect to the router.

Then I flashed the CM9 and tried today, and it worked fine. No idea what is wrong with my CheckROM. I already tried switching from NEAK to the stock CF-KK5, but still cannot connect.

So now I am stuck with CM9 if I want internet in college. So messed up. Can't wait until the HW codecs are fixed up in CM9

Now CM9 still not stable on SGS2 right? =)
