Totally agree!

Kelantan v Singapore MSL 10 Jan 2012 match.  Anybody bought tickets for that match? Think most of Singapore will be tuned in for the match. I hope Singapore wins against Kelantan. But than, as a Selangor guy and supporter, I hope Singapore wins against any other state sides except when it comes to Selangor. Selangor will as usual wipe Singapore out!

Thanks for your well-wishes! I'll be at Jalan Besar this Tuesday!

But regarding that Selangor thing, nah... We'll up the ante ourselves when we are playing against you! If the Sultan of Selangor Cup results are to mean anything, you guys have to really watch out for us.

Seriously, this is THE MATCH all LionsXII's fans is looking forward to. Most Singaporeans still regard Selangor as the Archrival, a worthy opponent of the Lions.

ALL TICKETS are sold out as of 4PM today. Kelantan can expect one hell of a welcome party with the full house at JBS!

I think with the right advertisement and media, it will fill at least half of that number. And this is just a minimum estimation.
Anyway, only big big teams in the league manage to get full fan support. Look at Johor and Kelantan last season. The Kelantan fans turned up more than the home fans themselves.

You know this big return, it brings back all the Uncles and Aunties from the Malaysia Cup days, and they are the ones who might just form the main core of the supporters from the Lions XII. Without much persuasion, I managed to get my dad to go down to the Lions match as well. Yes there were plenty of young kids who bought the tickets, but will they stick thru the season?

But I am confident this Lions XII project can sustain attendance figure of above 6,000 at any home matches, better than any S-League matches.

I don't think it is right for you to use the results of recent SOS cup for LionsXII and FA Selangor this season..
totally different team with Selangor finally have import player and LionsXII without all the FT.
I will certainly wait for the match between Selangor and LionsXII at Bukit Jalil. smile.gif

i hope this development will push your Sports HUb project.

i still wonder why they hastily tore down the original national stadium without a firm replacement plan in place..

the drums i dont get either. Its like a must for every S League game to have the drum all this while. Its like our vuvuzelas. With a beat though.
About the national stadium. It was delayed for quite sometime last time. Im guessing theres just isnt enough space to keep te stadium while building a sports hub.

They are building new national stadium, they demolished the old one because it was becoming outdated...but will only be ready in 2-3yrs time..

Plus the Casino was paid by the owner...nothing to do with the government wink.gif

welcome back lions..

actually i dont actually care if they are not playing with their u23 team. dont mind at all. more competitive team, better for Malaysian teams. the rules /agreement i much bother are, they are immune to relegation.

exciting time ahead, plus the additional of foreign players..

We are building new stadium now. But the Grand Old Dame have to make way due to space constraint. Else we would have kept it while the new hub is in construction.

If there is no further screw ups, the new sports hub should be ready for the 2014 season.

If you look at the Malaysia Cup winners up to 1994, Selangor won 27 times whilst Singapore won 24 times. So, overall, Selangor is still better! But roll on the latest Malaysia Cup final. Hope to see Selangor v Singapore in that. Now that will be something to see!

As for the Sultan of Selangor Cup, well, that's a pale imitation of the proper Malaysia Cup. It doesn't have the passion or heat of a proper Malaysia Cup derby between Selangor and Singapore!

The other thing, they should not allow immunity to Singapore against relegation. Not only is it unfair to the other teams but also to Singapore itself. It's the threat of failure and relegation that spurred Singapore to the double in 1994 after being relegated in 1993! Nothing taste sweeter than victory after defeat!

Well, Lions XII have to do well not to be placed the last 2 or 3 places, in order to avoid the embarassing scenario.

Last 2 or 3 relegated?
