Currently considering these 2 phone...

Motorola Defy Rm699 [is it a good buy?]
Samsung W Rm999

Mainly like to use for reading pdf file,skyp/viber/whatsapp and looking for easy to operate & acceptable quality camera features.

Currently there are two tablet with new price..

Motorola Xoom Wifi only [32GB] at Rm1399
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 wifi only [16GB] at Rm1299

undecided between these two....I believe Motorola have a good quality build,whereas Samsung is very aggressive in their products...
