1. Brand - Any 2. Budget - Below 2k 3. Specs - Dual-core, decent camera, super amoled plus, high-res. screen 4. What you need in the phone - Mainly for web browsing (prefer higher res. screen - 800x480 or 960x540, as per xDarkKnightx's post above). And a large enough screen that typing on the virtual keyboard isn't as miserable as on the HTC Desire.

Ok, I've got it narrowed down to either a Samsung Galaxy SII or a HTC Sensation XE.
I'm eyeing a secondhand non-G that someone's selling for RM1450. Should I go for it or is there any reason I should go for a Sensation XE instead?

1. Brand --> HTC / Samsung / Others 2. Budget --> 1k to 1.2k 3. Specs --> at least a 4.3" screen, decent resolution 4. What you need in the phone --> mainly for web-browsing, hopefully a camera with anti-shake capability
Don't have the budget for an expensive phone, so I'm looking to do a straight-up trade with my DSLR camera (hence the 1k to 1.2k budget). Mainly to be used for web surfing, Viber calls, and hopefully a better camera than my BB.
