Well now Proton is offering only 1k discount, even at COE Kesas. Seems like this dealer won't honour her end also, so no trust there anymore.

Any info on the 'real' R3 coming in February? I might just cancel and wait for this. Apparently all SA dealers promotion is month to month bases, so beginning of the month only they will know the upcoming deals. But CNY deals won't be as good as year end deal correct?

Forget COE Kesas, you wont get a good deal there. Those super deal 9k 10k etc.. are usually SA looking for sellers who need to fill incentive, official proton discount was only 5k, 4k is from the agent/company.

I have a friend working in official Proton dealership, saying that Proton will clamp down on dealers that throw price, and will charge more when servicing if not bought from ori proton dealers.

Not sure if real or not, but just conveying what he said.

Try to imagine this, I sell Suzuki car, i know several Proton Dealers, got someone wan buy Inspira form me, buyer wan 9k discount... so.. I call up all my dealer contacts, ask who wanna give 9k discount, Dealer C is desperate, he say "ok ONZ", so I channel the sales to him, and get some comm.

So... how is this "non ori dealer"? Such thing cant even exist

Oops. Sorry i mention Disty cost .. Sampai Shop then mark up sampai enduser will be 6-7k. But depends which year you bought la. That time 3-4yrs before geh.

But anyways, I might just cancel the booking and see what Feb has to offer?

when u cancel, u hv to do till they say is their fault.. else they might say u sendiri 1 cancel end up u cant get back your RM500

If you havent sign any bank offer letter or bank not yet approve. Cancel and get back the deposti shud not a problem. Just worry the money already masuk the salesman pocket,she/he will trow many reason to forfeit your rm500. But as i know,now buy car NO NEED single cent until bank approve your loan only pay the 10%.

Why ppl still pay for deposit??
