this reviewer is FAST! the model looks extremely flimsy though
and i'm a bit scared to buy it now seeing as it's filled with rather breakable parts

i look up her channel for TT kits a lot, cos i think she's one of the few reviewers of bootleg models who are actually good at doing reviews

Feeling well abit to update bits of STK's CommandWolf Barad Ver I got a few weeks ago.

The backside:




Notice some minor missing details, the pistons lots half of it somewhere.. XD And..the upper back armor's details are oval-ed shaped unlike the ori


Limbs:


I forgot for the top and bottom image, which is the left or right side. But anyways, the image in the middle shows some minor details [which will be covered up later]


Zoids Core:


The Right side is STK's which has a small long air bubble in it.



While painting the tiny points on the core I noticed that 1 or 2 are missing. XD And the Coer Holder has very minor detail lost.


Will update in ..i think 8 more parts..

STK Core that has bubbles looks like theres something living in there. so suitable for Zoids

i think having the bubble actually add a bit more depth to the bubble also looks better in some ways
but the plastic quality so.. scary awaiting your further updates!

I saw the gap line for the pink wolf (the ekzo)?????
STK So far so good? For me just that the leg ball joinment abit loose. Plastic harder & not easy to broke.
With the price for STK, can be consider good already

Btw, mine one is STK white wolf.

Yea, the long thing is the tail. I"ll make an overall comment on STK's Command Wolf Barad's Ver after the pics are all uploaded.

Perhaps you're not the only one with the loose ball joints at the legs connecting to the body section. XD I"m also having that problem. If it's being twisted or moved around a lil bit, the leg will come off.

that one goes without saying
but koto's model kit engineering is superb.. so even seeing a pirated kit of it is pretty good already.. just have to give them time to improve, i guess?

STK Command Wolf Barad's Ver Part2:

Front Leg:


Top image: The panel lining on the other half of the mold is missing.. XD I think one can carve out the lines, I was a lil bit lazy to do that.

In the next image, you can see that ori's part is a good straight cut, while STK's one has some extra plastic parts out abit.

Here, you can cut/trim it so the part fits in well. Or else it is a lil bit loose.


Back Leg:


Similar case to the front legs as mentioned above. STK's one needs some minor trimming to make it fit in nicely. You don't want it to pop out and go missing right..? XD I almost cried when i was looking for it on the floor... ;_; lol


Details:

All the armor pieces that cover the legs have these missing details [top n bottom]



Saved an image from the web. Notice those small panel linings in the gray parts? STK's counterpart does not have those but you can carve it out too i believe.

Pirated ones are ok lah. XD Seeing that koto has quiet a number of parts needed to be copied..so yea, give them time.

damn, i got the feeling that Daban MG Epyon is one of the best pirated MG kit ever. with tight joints and all snapfit nicely!

can't wait to get started on mine DB ARF already dam impressive.. i wonder when we will get 00R and 007S
i've got high hopes on Daban i hope they come up with even more amazing kits.. (MG Ex-S maybe? i know i'm dreaming but i can dream, can't i? )

Some missing details that I miss painting most.. Was looking for it up n down but couldn't find them.


Some..however, are too obviously gone.


bottom View


The canopy/cockpit hatch for STK's one doesn't seem to open abit more compared to the ori. I did take it out again to check and the build is similar and there is nothing wrongly molded so..not sure why. But don't try to force it yea. Or it'll snap.

bootleg zoids is awesome!!!

instead of loose joint, others is awesome....
as per discussion about the loss of detailing, man, its a bootleg kit,
u pay the price. i'm ok with...

maybe coz i'm nt owning a Koto kit..hehehe
