No la..i got oced it to 1.8ghz coz i was extracting zip file..then lupa return back to 1ghz liao..no wonder feels very hot while im surfing net.then zzzzzz pls insert sim lol

any other rom which is more stable and faster ?

Im still on pureness rom with doomkernelv5.ive tried diff kernel like arc knight but after installing new rom,it wont boot up then back to doom kernel again

Vplayer is good, but i tried many players, file bigger than 1Gb Or HD lags or no sound...

i've been searching for video player for HD file..
could u guys suggest one... since i've tried the suggested on google, but stills lag, out sync audio-video, some of it didn't load soft-sub subtitle...huhuh

Anyone thinking of getting the TX once it is out? I think the TX is really nice with the screen extending to the very edge. Especially so with the on-screen button disappearing when viewing movies and pictures. Plus it can switch location depending on how we hold the phone.

Acro s is selling at 1699, i assumed this phone TX likely bout 1899-2k myb.. gues i pass tis one, i'll wait another year til sony release quad phone n jellybean ready. I believe my arc stil reliable til that time.

No suprise bout no jb out of the box, remember xperia s?, no ics out of yhe box too. Hope sony wil improve in this update deparment.

i gues u r right bout that one, moto,samsung etc the always come out first wit new phone equipped wit latest update howeva abadon their old model @ very slow update release.. howeva s3 n note seems another story as samsung promises jb update very soon.

btw, i wana ask bout rom, current im using ice bean rom, say if the developer release an update, do i ned to do everythg from the beginning like factory setting->wipe dalvis cache->install rom from sd or i can skip n go straight to install from sd?

-1) i wonder how u oc n get till 1.8ghz coz my setcpu app max only at 1.6ghz

Added on September 5, 2012, 12:46 pmow btw 1 more thing bro, ever since my first flashin rom, my phone model no become LT18i, iinm my original arc is LT15a.. my question, the developer recommend a different kernel, in which if i wana change it i have to also flash it's wifi module.. the problem is it got to module, for arc s and for arc.. so which 1 shud i choose?

Eh if bootloop then just flash stock ROM from Sony then redo also can right.

JJ Hybrid is good and smooth but battery still an issue.

note 2 using the same proc (but clock a bit higher)as s3 which is base on benchmark loss to krait dual core..

for me 5.5 screen size to big a hp, so a no for me  , also always love sony design compared to samsung. just hope the build quality from sony will be muc improve for their future product.

A lil' help.
Finally decided to unlock bootloader after a year using Arc. Lulz!

Tried to flash a custom ROM into my Arc.
1st attempt was the Jelly Sandwich 5.0 + ArcKnight Kernel.
Phone keep on restarting.
After doing some research, it seems like the kernel was not compatible with the ROM (although it was recommended and provided in the thread. )

Then I'm off to my 2nd attempt which was Jelly Sandwich 5.0 + DoomKernel.
This time the phone starts and performed well. But with ni WIFI.
Flash the WIFI module multiple times with CWM, but no luck.

And earlier morning, I flashed Ice Bean X 4.3 with DoomKernel, still no WIFI after reflashing the module.

Update : Flashed XArc kernel and wifi module, still doesn't work.

Any help?

The last one before I install the custom ROM was ICS 4.1.B.0.587.
