nice... vintage henry...
the only player i know can apply that finishing after Henry gone is ...Bendtner, i wish he still with Arsenal... maybe more useful than Chamakh.. zzzzz

actually walcott also used to score goals like that, but then he took an arrow to the knee

This is why you don't do commentary from the side of the pitch

Zomg missed the match... but the finishing was good and that's what we needed so badly. I bet if it's Gervinho or Walcott they will just dribble it around, try to push through and lose possession, shoot wide or wait for RvP to arrive doh.gif

look at how confident henry is. after the ball left his right foot, he started running and celebrating. a typical henry finishing. i still couldnt believe we got titi back!

ramsey, the guy who took a shawcross to the leg, would be a suitable motm . he was at his best today. henry reminds me of Altair in AC:R esp with his beard hahaha

now that you've mentioned it, bendtner used to place balls like that too when he actually gets his head out his backside. chamakh have been useless, iuno what happened to him. now we have henry and jooyoung lining up behind rvp. i still dont think henry has the passing abilities, but finishing wise he's still the king.

damn now we have two finishing kings in rvp and henry.

Wenger on what he said to Henry before he went on...

I just told him where he plays, because he can play on the flanks or through the middle. I told him to play through the middle. He did not know who was coming off. For the rest, you don't need to tell him too much.

Francis Coquelin has a hamstring injury and he is out for a few weeks.

I haven't decided yet. Robin will be back against Swansea. Will Thierry start or not? I don't know yet. He can play behind or in front of Robin or on the flank, Robin can play on the flank too, but I don't know yet what I will do. They can play together, of course, and they did play together.

Henry is 34 now but he had taken the pass from Alex Song perfectly as if it had come from the boot of Patrick Vieira or Robert Pires.

QUOTE(,Jan 10 2012, 08:14 AM)
And the reality of his return, just like the return of Paul Scholes at United on Sunday, is more a sign of Arsenal’s weaknesses than their strengths.
