What’s going on in the minds of arsenal players?

Arteta – Oh, no I should have stayed in Everton!

Walcott – I need a raise, to raise my game

Vermalaen – I hate playing left back

The OX – Why is it always me to be substituted? Not fair!

Ramsey – Attacking midfield is so hard, how does Cesc do it?

Arshavin – Ramsey isn’t really better than me, is he?

RVP – I want to score as many goals as I can and then quit in the summer

A.Wanger - Beside RVP who should I sell next season???

even tho Bolton got the worst defence, but against Arsenal, they packed the defence and midfield. We were just unlucky not to win the match..

We already have 2 billionaries.
Infact, I think Arsenal is the only club with 2 billionaries owners in the club in EPL.
But yet Arsenal is the most prudent when it comes to spending.

The board are very contended with the profit that Arsenal made.
How many clubs in EPL are making money?

Usmanov wants to take full control and  spend but he was stopped by the board as they
think he is a russian gangster.  The board prefer Stan Kroenke who is an american.

Ivan Gazidis. Chief Executive of Arsenal already said it does not matter if Arsenal don't get to play in Champion League.  sweat.gif

Usmanov IS a gangster. You do some research, there's lot of dirt you can find.

Well... maybe all billionaires from that region (Russia, Ukraine, etc) are related to the underground world in some form...

arsenal place will be 7th or 8th position this year coz of wenger refuses buy….wenger keep the check book close to ur heart while other teams buyin and get 3th and 4th position. Just look at Spurs, they spent like crary in transfer market for past 2 season and it also already 2 season we cant beat spurs........wake up fans
*
I don't think spurs spent alot on the players they brought in because they are not as rich as Arsenal.

Currently the difference is that they have a stronger mid-field than Arsenal,
- Bale, Van der vat, Luka Modric & Scott Parker.
Their defense line up is also slightly better than Arsenal.
The players they brought in mostly have experience playing in england and therefore they gel up faster.

If you said Usmanov is a gangster, then so is Roman Abramovich.
Are you saying a gangster cannot be a owner of a club like Arsenal?
If you do a search, I'm sure you will discover that there are many gangsters involved in football clubs too.

After selling RVP, Arsenal may not even be in mid table come next season.

Added on February 3, 2012, 3:20 pmWenger's double hit as Arteta slams performances and shareholders refuse to back boss
By SAMI MOKBEL

Arsene Wenger has come under mounting pressure as Arsenal’s season goes from bad to worse.
Midfielder Mikel Arteta branded his side’s recent displays as ‘not good enough’, while a group of
Gunners shareholders refused to give their unequivocal backing to the Frenchman. Wednesday
night’s 0-0 draw at Bolton left Arsenal in seventh place, five points off a Champions League spot.

And Arteta was scathing in criticising his side’s frailties after they picked up just one point from a
possible 12. ‘We had a lot of chances to win the game at Bolton, but once again we’ve not been
good enough to take them,’ said the former Everton star. ‘And if you don’t take your chances it’s
always going to be difficult.

Pressure: Arsene Wenger
‘It’s not good enough. We really need to start picking up points now. We’ve lost too many in the last
two weeks.’ Meanwhile the Arsenal Supporters Trust issued a statement saying: ‘There has been
lots of debate about the position of Arsene Wenger recently and the AST is often asked to give media
comment, which we decline.'

‘Any discussion and opinions should be given at the end of the season when matters can be viewed
with greater clarity.’ Some fans will place black bin-liners over empty seats during tomorrow’s match
with Blackburn to signal their discontent.

It's non-homegrown player rule mate. Not that Wenger refuse to buy for no reason. Probably one of the reason that Alex Ferguson also refused to spend, and Kenny Dalglish went for English player. Beside, Wenger himself isn't fan of January transfer window.

Interesting info from arseblog

The points total of the team that finished 4th in the last four seasons were: 10-11: 68pts – 09-10: 70pts – 08-09: 72pts – 07-08: 76pts. Arsenal have 37 points with 15 games to go.

EPL is getting more competitive every year

1.Loan Walcott out to Bolton!

2.Ox in, Arshavin take CAM/ 2nd Striker, Ramsey out.. period.

Just when our defense is getting stronger, the front line ammo seems to be depleted

Wenger - I’m considering resting Van Persie

By Rob Kelly

Arsène Wenger is considering how best to utilise his striking options ahead of Saturday’s match against Blackburn - and that could mean a rest for Robin van Persie.

The captain has started 11 of Arsenal’s past 12 matches - scoring seven goals - but his manager admits he is “tempted” to rotate for the match at Emirates Stadium.

“I will rotate a little bit because many players have given a lot,” said Wenger. “[With Van Persie] the temptation is there.

“We are in a situation at the moment where he is the main goalscorer, so I will maybe have to build a team that works around him.”

Wenger will not field Marouane Chamakh against Blackburn after the striker returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, but he could use Theo Walcott up front if Van Persie is rested.

“We have [Ju Young] Park, Thierry Henry, we have Walcott who wants to play through the middle - he has not done it,” he said.

“We have not done it but we always have adapted. Thierry Henry at the start was not a centre forward, Robin van Persie was not a centre forward, so we’ll see what we do if it happens.

“But Chamakh is back. No [he is not ready to play]. He should be in today because they have 48 hours to be back after the competition, but I will not use him tomorrow.”
