QUOTE(ahaksz28 @ Jan 22 2012, 11:27 PM) Pity spurs. Lose in the dying seconds after conceding penalty. No true Gooner pity Spuds. But it was great result for us, St. Totteringham day might be upon us again this season after all.Hopefully luck is in our side tonight and hope they give their all whoever play tonight. Up the Gunners ! and please don't get injured. |

It seems Wenger would rather wait for our player to heal rather than chicken chasing new purchases which is not to be guaranteed the effectiveness.I agree with bro Azurues, there are other highlights such as all those misses, all those defensive organization mistakes and lastly the substitutions. Recent matches have really exposed our weaknesses on the fullback positions. Not trying to blame any players because those are not their natural positions. AW should do something about this, by better training to ensure those makeshift players a better fullbacks or changing the team tactic/strategy/formation. Out of all the players, I'm most worried about Walcott instead of Arshavin. If we compare both of them, the differences are Walcott is faster, but super inconsistent yet is playing as first choice week in week out. Meanwhile, Arshavin has failed to impress the way we all expect (except his 4 goals against Liverpool which was quite long ago), low in morale and his age is climbing up. The good things about him are that we all know his abilities as a regular national player and he has never complain about being benched. We should hang with him until he wants to leave. 2 things that really stuck on my mind since MU match is : 1. Yennaris was much more effective than JD but he's freakin 18. 2. AOC also 18 but started and subbed off when we need him the most I don't think anyone in his right mind would debut 2 18 y/o against the Champions, but it seems to be what most fans would like. Still, AOC's substitution really took the wind out of the team.No matter how exhausted AOC was, he shouldn't be subbed off, at least not then. The team just found their feet, and Wenger took that away. Damn. JD would still be my first choice RB thou unless the opponent is too fast for him. But AOC or anyone else for the matter (Benayoun or Rose) over Arshavin is a must. This post has been edited by boscorelli: Jan 24 2012, 11:51 PM |

They play "park the bus and long balls". And we depend at high line, I'd say, that's a very bad match up.
Fcuk me, we need to score 3 against that defense. P/s : there's alot of Final Fantasy XIII-2 commercial tonite. |

We can take advantage of club revenue earliest in 2015 when the sponsorship deals done to support the stadium construction expires and we can start to nego new deal and get on par with scousers, chelski and manure.

QUOTE(Phonzy @ Feb 1 2012, 11:42 PM) CODE http://www.firstrow.tv/ Just go there, and check the list. They open the channel within 20 minutes before kickoff. Where are you anyway ? Added on February 1, 2012, 11:54 pm QUOTE(s3liparjepon @ Feb 1 2012, 06:35 PM) I think arsene must sign player that can give immediate impact. Yes youth is future but when they are as good as cesc, they will leave. One thing contributes to this is no silverware for the past 7 years. Sign player that can win some titles and cup not unproven somebody, unless he is the next messi though Can't help it bro, January is not really an ideal period to buy players. Top players usually wait till summer so they'll have more choices and internationals don't want to affect their chances for Euro ex: Podolski. And with our last January record signing (read Arshavin) turns out the way it is, any manager would hesitate. And I read somewhere : QUOTE(Legendaire @ Jan 31 2012) Not a lot we can do really – I am told by a very reliable source that Eden Hazard will sign for Chelski this summer…. after being offered a ludicrous signing on fee. Mata choose them ahead of us after picking up a 7M Euro signing on fee. This post has been edited by boscorelli: Feb 1 2012, 11:55 PM |

QUOTE(JoyLee1055 @ Feb 3 2012, 10:51 AM) We already have 2 billionaries. Usmanov IS a gangster. You do some research, there's lot of dirt you can find.Infact, I think Arsenal is the only club with 2 billionaries owners in the club in EPL. But yet Arsenal is the most prudent when it comes to spending. The board are very contended with the profit that Arsenal made. How many clubs in EPL are making money? Usmanov wants to take full control and spend but he was stopped by the board as they think he is a russian gangster. The board prefer Stan Kroenke who is an american. Ivan Gazidis. Chief Executive of Arsenal already said it does not matter if Arsenal don't get to play in Champion League. Who are we to complain? |
