Specs been out since December, nothing new there.

If the same vendor for Santa Fe is supplying the Elantra GPS, that unit is actually very good for it's price. I've seen other GPS HU before, the interface is not as streamlined as the one on the Santa Fe.

GPS depends on the GPS software anyway, doesn't really have anything to do with the HU, if you use Papago it'll be all the same regardless of HU's brand or software as most GPS now runs on same hardware specs, performance will not vary by very much.

Some minor updates, not 100% , since I didn't go to the soft launch that day, but the 1.8 center fascia design will be a bit different from from the 1.6, and Nappa leather seats appears to be black color.

Only Naza will give 6. All Hyundai only got 2 except Sonata premium

Nobody complained when Optima's price was only know 1 week before launching.

nar, the one which actually got sued is civic hybrid. the battery issue causing bad mpg.

the consumer watchgroup just cried foul and hyundai had to remove the FC claim only.

K5 sales is virtually a dead fish. Tats why SD is still trying top figure out the best price for Elantra.
I believe segment C car buyers in Malaysia are more sensitive with price and resale value compared to segment D. And I don't think many will see RM11x,xxx for Elantra 1.8 as a worth buy.

So, do you think that Sime Darby, knowing how good the car is, deliberately delayed the launch of the Elantra?

And like I was saying, a lot of car only announces it's pricing 1 week before their official launching, nobody seems to be making noise about that. The very secrecy of launching information is ironically, caused by the public, do you think Sime Darby will announce anything half-baked to the angry mob after their 'announcement' of a Q3 2011 launch?

SAs around Malaysian isn't helping either, giving false rumors and simply confirming prices. Why don't you shoot these SAs instead of pointing the gun at SD?
Should have the proper system to fit one in, although it won't be integrated into the steering.

I am sure Sime Darby will appreciate anyone who have the capability to price the Elantra sub-100k without cutting vital corners and employ them to head the sales team, just give them a call to offer your services.

Which HU picture you saw on the 1.8? I am very sure the 1.8 HU is well blend into the interior.

The rear light no LED ah?  Front have led day running light or not?
