Hi all,

I am looking to put a wooden door as my attached bathroom door ( odd small size). It will be in contact with water off and on..and likely will face expansion issue, if not well waterproofed or treated.

My thinking is to paint it with Jotun Outdoor Wood Paint ( waterproof supposedly) a few layers, and probably layer it with thin plastic foil on areas most contact with water.

Im not sure if this gonna work, but seeking any advice or experience of any had done it before.

You must be asking why im putting a wooden door..Well, my attached bathroom, very old house design, has open ceiling. Any person who can climb a 9ft wall, can access from over the wall to my attached bathroom, and with a plastic door..one kick and u know la.

At least a wooden door with door bolt, can help slow down a bit.
Another option is to grilled up the ceiling, but...the missus was screaming bout the jail looking bath...haha.

Any input will be appreciated.
