I always will try sticky things with WD-40, maybe you try with small portion doing it in the morning may help too.

You got to put the wd-40 on the small gap between the door and the plastic. than slowly pull and wipe wd-40 along the way. WD-40 help remove the bond.
If you just spray on the plastic is no use. |
