today I went for the health screening at BP

measured bodyfat using their machine, the one need to step on it and hold the hand censors one, showing that my BF% is 16.6%, whereby when using the Tanita foot scale it was showing 22-24% sweat.gif

seriously how accurate can these readings be, different machine shows different results
*
These machines, most like need to be calibrated. Its just a reference. The easiest way to confirm, is using caliper.

electronics scale need calibration? blink.gif
*
thats correct immaterial, what kinda scale, it still needs calibration, especially those under heavy usage as in the gym and road shows.

I have given my tanita scale for calibration previously. Even on Tanita website,it says needs calibration.

Started serious, since Jan 2012, as in my Log. Prior to that was just conditioning myself.

It's not as bad as you think, man. Solid base you've got even though you stopped training for a few years right?
*
Thanks ALL, for the encouragement, its means alot. It aint easy restarting after 10 long years.

Although I stopped back in 2002, I was still active in sports (jogging and badminton). And do ensure I have enough food.

Its actually not difficult to control fat gain on body, once you learn to listen to you body and DL is a very good example of it.

I would even wake up at 4am just to eat and then go to bed, I will never starve myself, and normally I know, if I need more water, or carbo or protein, hence, fulfill those requirement when needed. Other then that, I eat what ever I feel. Someday, I stuff my self somedays, I eat lean. Last thursday had 3 nasilemak and a currymee, but nothing close to DL.

My advise to newcomers to take it easy, be patient, go slow, while learning what your body is trying to say and requires, that way, in a longer run, you will have a lean body.

Thanks, Again.

Agree with DL, there is quiet a bit of difference, your chest is more leaner now, your core is much more tighter now. It could be Water Retention; reduce your sodium intake (soy sauce is high in sodium) and increase (double) your water intake; and sweat more. I guess sweating is taken care from your marathon practice now, you should see difference in 2 weeks time.

rotator cuff tear and SLAP tear, i gave links above edi tongue.gif
*
Sorry to hear about that, mate. I guess, janson was asking how did got the tear there?

Looks like, next time for competition, you have to ave deep tan inorder to cover your surgery marks, until the skin surface marks fully disappears.

You take care now, dont be hero till it recovers tongue.gif ; since you know the healing process way too well.
