hi all, my gen2 cps air cond compressor is kinda noisy "humming sound"... any of u had this problem? compressor is sanden...
send to SC they told me its normal, but i dont think so..

pls add me into list.. sorry forgotten i've intro b4 or not.. thread just move on too fast..

bro, ur radiator fan so fast "kong", what's ur mileage?

110k km? shld b around this life-span.. shld hav it replaced when its above 100k km.. if just replace the motor, shld b much cheaper outside..

btw, wat grade of full-syn oil r u guys using for CPS? is 10w40 or 5w 40 suitable for CPS??

SC?? cannot depend on them la.. they just rely on trainee to handle our cars.. if its not under warranty, i would not send to SC...

ya agree, cps still new.. even A/C also different.. even authorised A/C workshop ordered wrong parts.. cannot fit.. looks same but some component different..

from my point of view, 100k shld replace thw following already:
- water pump
- fuel filter
- radiator thermostat
- fan - to check

what abt sensors? my x-civic hav to replace sensors at every timing belt replacement..

when playin wif bigger cc car like 2.0, agree that after 180 lower c.c. will kena "tapau".. play pick-up sure no problem..

for engine heat dispersion.. not much we can do as ori shld b enough.. the only things we can do is:
- service ur cooling system regularly. replace coolant/water at every service interval. use good coolant = toyota coolant
- use good engine oil - full-syn. shld consider 5w40 or 10w40. lower i think too thin for cps engine.
- those with extractor, u may wanna custom made a heat shield. w/o the ori shield, ur engine bay is exposed to more heat..
optional if ada budget:
- change ori radiator to aluminium type "guarantee works"..

- toyota coolant is proven 1 of the better coolant in the mkt. "red color type" - just to share from my experience

polo 1.2 tsi = 100+ps. shld not b a problem for our cps to out run it. i hav not test with 1 b4 but from spec. sheet shld b no problem.

what i meant bigger c.c = mazda 3, forte 2.0, lancer 2.0, civic 2.0.. not those monster b16, b18 or etc etc..

interesting.. neva knew polo is that fast.. will try test if hav the chance..

if ur car is properly tuned n maintained, i believe no problem matching with cars like civic 2.0 on pickup.. top speed? no need to think.. they will tapau u.

my previous car was a ES 1.7, my car have no problem taking on lancer 2.0 or civic 2.0.
mod? only basic mod, but i maintain my car very well. healthy engine = more power..
anything thing is, try keep ur car light - remove access weight items = super big subwoofers, super big/heavy rims & etc..
its up to individual, power or looks..

try playing genting down hill with them.. golf also u can tapau.. i would like to see how they boost while downhill cornering..

i've seen x club members with great dyno figures..but test time, kena tapau by those no mod..

bro azuma, play with friends ok.. but pickup lor.. dont go all the way top speed.. too dangerous..

anyway i quite impress with cps on gen2, not bad.. cant wait till i get my hands on mod.. now still under wrty, so cannot touch..hehehe

i believe with careful matched mod, my cps machine can be much more powerful than my previous civic...

u shld b able to get 120 easily by upgrading filter, intake + mayb exhaust system..

120+ off wheel.. on wheel 105-108.. another 10-12 hp is not difficult

hmm guys.. not sure la.. but can u rely on that fella/company who is running it? sometimes they may just adjust or play with it.. after "cut your throat".. the adjust "ada power gain.."...
