just replace ur radiator water at every service interval. hav them flush it. its not expensive + keeps ur engine internal clean like new.
this is what i practise, even during water pump replacement "done 120k km mileage" the water pump internals looks almost like new.. |

QUOTE(TripleJ104 @ Feb 9 2012, 11:12 AM) Yeah...wanna check overall system operating like idle rpm, radiator fan speed & etc. If possible adjust/tuning to OEM standard. oic, normally they do this at every service if i'm not wrong.. my regular non SC workshop also hav this handheld device..Our taiko sphiroth said better check now than regret later causing engine overheating. |

QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Feb 11 2012, 09:53 AM) Actually fan belt and water pump not necessary to change one, its recommended to replace water pump at every timing belt replacement interval.. its almost due to leak at anytime..but since changing timing belt, might as well do it one shot one... as for timing belt cover rubbert seal.. not sure why it kong so fast.. mine at 30k km already kong.. proton really using cheapo stuff.. anyone tried swapping ori cps with neo's? neo's intake looked bigger where else ori cps the intake front inlet its so small. "any of u took a look into that intake hole?"
another issue is, any of u had this with ur AT - cps? when engine is cold at 1st start up & drive.. the 1st gear takes longer to change. is this normal? |

thnks for clarifying.. at least i now knw its normal. very different from my persona. i thought tht there's something wrong liao..
bro ahpingko, from my point of view/experience, persona built quality is better than gen2 although they claim gen2 latest batch hav been improved overall. my 2008 persona felt like any conti car "no ngek-ngek or wat ever interior noise" where else my 2010 gen2...... sigh! only good is the CPS engine.. + sportier look.. |

for comfy = ps3
aggressive driving = c drive 2.. i've tried ps3 supposed to be an upgrade of ps2.. what i can say is ps3 performs slight better than ps2 on wet.. dry & aggressive cornering = ps2. so if i were to choose from ps3 vs cd2? = cd2.. |
