i can't seem to get more than 360km - 370km for a full tank of about 35L. how on earth do i need to drive to get better mileage? even before i mod the engine, best i got was about 380km i have tried pumping up the tyres, driving like a snail on the highway (90kph ~ 110kph) till even kancils and trucks overtake me and i still can't do better. funny thing is, the engine obd says i'm doing about 7.3L/100km. seems pretty far off from what i'm really getting. i've even tried changing gears below 4,000rpm.

any advice is most appreciated.

oklah, so i'm not alone. thanks guys. thought only me having funny fuel consumption. by the way, the throttle body polish at dori-dori sounds interesting. maybe i do that after my header. little bits done here n there hopefully can bring up the hp and torque (i know torque is hard to increase) but overall response should be better. only question is... economy. many say with a cleaner running engine with more power, as long as right foot can control, the fuel economy can improve too. fact or myth remains to be discovered

i got my catback during the power of one show at about rm1068 (around there) but now it is lower than rm1k. tak pe lah, i am thinking just get the header to complete the collection.

ooo, does it really work? i thought for aesthetics only. maybe i should consider the r3 spoiler then. now still using ori spoiler.

i notice my gen2 r3 catback pipe looks a bit narrower than the original.

finally got the header! safely kept in the boot. looks nice install end of month when back from holidays.

as for battery, sometime my car doesn't start at first crank. wonder if it is the battery. my car just one year plus.

gen2 and persona really different. even the tyre profile is different even though both 15 inch. fazron80 is right. the persona though it handles capably is set up for comfort and really not much when compared to the gen2 which was optimised for fast driving and handling.

seriously much worse? i thought will be more economical. but it will be more smooth right? and can last longer right?
