not every gamer can finish every game in the market.So,he/she resorts to using cheats.

who here uses cheats?

what kind of cheats do you use? press cheats? password cheats? gameshark/codebreaker/action replay/xploder cheats?


i used to cheat all the time.

eveytime a new game comes out,the first thing i did was go to the net,find some press cheats.if i couldnt find those,then i went off to get some ar/gs cheats.
now,however,i play the game till i really cant advance forward,only will i use some cheats.

although cheating takes a big element out of the game,to be honest,it does add some fun to it as well...

1st of all .. no fun play cheat ..
2nd .. dun hv those ar max or gameshark thingy

well. i dont cheat also .... for the 1st time (1st round) i play the game till finish, only using cheat for the second time.
btw, i use alots of cheat in GTA : SA, the game was too confusing if play without; need to find star to decreased wanted level, somemore saving ammo.

After playing through any game several times, adding cheats does spice up the game a bit; at least enough to make you play em' for another week or two.

Used to be a die hard cheater, but now rely less on cheats. (Cheaters Annoymous anyone?)

So far i've completed Halo 2, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and reached Elite in Burnout Revenge. On the PC, SW: Republic Commando, COD...sadly lost interest in other games.

You really get a sense of accomplishment when you play without cheats.

I try not to cheat or else it would have spoilt what the developers want me to feel while playing the game.

Unless if i am having difficulty going thru a level, first thing is walkthrough, if its not enough, then CHEAT here i come!

hehe most of the games i cheat cause got no time to play for long hours. it takes quite long to level up or do the same sequence over and over again... i dont cheat with any fighting games though until ive finished the game first.. hehe i love cheating and giving myself unlimited super moves..

I seldom cheat ... i just use the walkthrough if i'm stucked...
But i admit cheating is fun too .... its amusing .. you can do weird things ...

I only use GameShark to do modification to Smackdown and Raw, HCTP and SYM.. other game nope..

gameshart / codebreaker doesn't work on my 39006 + M3 mod chip

how would you constitute cheat? Is using guide/walkthrough regarded as cheating? I sometimes use guides to pass through *extremely* difficult parts of the game or to find explanation (Jap games etc). If by cheating you mean AR or GS then no i dont cheat

I try not to unless I absolutely have to. Completing a game without cheating feels wholesome like you pwned it with your skill.
That does not mean I don't cheat though.
GTA Vice City is loads of fun with cheats on. All guns and full ammo, can take out many cops
I normally stick to premade cheats encoded by the programmers since they are more stable and are meant for cheating. Game shark, and code breaker has the tendency to not load the game properly (in my case, don't know about you guys)

Yes I do cheat in a sense that I use walkthrough. I don't use cheat code or AR/GS though.

I cheat using Action Replay Max...reason, same as babyakuma, only a small window of time to play...but cheating makes u miss out on sense of accoplishment

I use cheat on mostly RPGs...lvl up takes a lot of time,man

play till can't advance any further, then need trainer to help.
usually i use trainer for FPS and action game. and no infinite health for me, coz there's no challenge at all anymore if use it. if i do manage to finish some game without trainer i'll play it again with trainer, it's always fun to shoot endless bazooka and missile

im not cheating. even if im not finishing the game. that's why the only game i finish are diablo, hellfire, diablo 2, warcraft 1, homm2/3...n know not playing games anymore

Of course I CHEAT. I've a real life you know...i can't afford to spend 100 hours just to level up to pass thru some god damned dungeons!!! No thanks!

I cheat too... But usually money cheat only....

Resorts to cheat whena crappy game keeps throwing the same crap at you.
i.e, different level, but just more enemies to slow you down. lameness. lol!

Or simply not much time to spend on gaming edy. so cheat helps speed up the process.

There is a reason the developer have the cheatcode for unlock.
Not everybody wana go through the process of leveling up or dyign over & over again to enjoy the game.
Well i don't use cheat but my friend, the only way to enjoy game is when he got cheat. He play FPS he always scare will run out of bullet...

Yes...money cheat & speed build, if you enable it...the enemy also have the same privilege

I use cheat for infinity HP/MP/$$ most of the RPG games i use cheats .

i cheat jz to have fun.....
lets say lotsa guns...
or $$$ for simulation games...

but now racing car no unlock cheat d lur....

i will using cheat after finish-up the game... for re-play lah.. just for fun...

and if I took longer time to finish up the game I will use walkthrogh... is it consider cheat...

for FPS game,I use cheats when playing DOOM I,II,FINAL DOOM and Serious SAM I,II

Just use GOD MODE cos these games are extremely brutal.

cheat is a big no-no to me especially it comes to completing my favourite games. however, i did cheat b4 in warcraft 3 when i discovered its cheat. i become invisible and finally defeated computer in campaign.

use cheat to unlock unlockable items, game stages/missions. god mode sometime if the game really hard to win. hehehe... well for me game is for fun. so, why choose the hard way when we can play the game in easy way.

Many PS3 games are not cheatable. I only cheat in GTA4 so far. In PC games I like to cheat it makes the game more fun. I also cheated in some multiplayer online games
