I share your pain. have you been to the golden slipper outlet at amcorp mall? you can take the lrt until taman jaya, it is less than 5 minutes walking distance from there. it is on the first floor, if i'm not mistaken, a few doors away from watsons.
they carry their in house brand, golden slipper, which is locally made. their normal shoes can go up to size 9. then they have a small section for ladies who wear larger sizes up to size 13 - its not terribly exciting in terms of selection, but its quite practical and i can see that most of the shoes are for office and basic use. the pricing is about RM50.00 to RM100.00 for a pair of good shoes. my feet are a bit on the wide side, so where i can't wear vincci shoes (too narrow), i can just about fit into these shoes. for the price, the quality is fine. the soles have proper traction and support, so i did not slip in any of this shoes (i have slipped in some with flimsy heels from brands outlet, which is similar to cotton on) i was quite happy to discover i can fit into a pair of size 9 basic black heels which were about 3 inches high and set on a nice platform, i bought them at about RM80-ish (this was a while ago so i can't really remember). they used to be quite precious and i rarely wore them, but now i wear them to work every other week. i also wear size 10 and i really hate those looks from the sales ppl, they are like "u are a monster" =.= i get my shoes from Vincci (i dun really like them cuz their shoes cant tahan lama, wear frequently and within half a year you have to say good bye to them), Nose (a bit pricey for me so i only buy when they r having sales), Licci (at sunway pyramid same floor with asian avenue, and the good thing i like Licci is because if you are sure u will buy the shoe, they can use a tool to broaden the shoe a bit so your foot can fit better in it), a shop in BTS (they got sell pls size shoes for woman up to 11-13)
wish you good luck in ur shoe hunting |

Thanks for the replies! I will check on the places that were recommended! Still having issues with finding proper flats for my size. Had a size 43 flats that was decent, except that it was narrow at the toes, I only wear them a few hours once a week, so I didn't mind... until today.. Big toe was bruised and painful for a few days, didn't thought anything bout it until when I was trimming the nail, plasma started oozing out non-stop. I am probably going to lose that nail (the largest toe too!). So I am reconsidering on whether to continue wearing the pair of shoes >.<
Really really need a pair of size 44 or US size 13 UK size 10 flats (or size 43 which are wider at the tip) bad. And the thing is they are only flats! I am not looking for heels or anything fancy, should be easy to find. But nooo.. still a huge pain to find any of them. Might be doomed to wear sport shoes for the rest of my life. T.T I was tempted to try buying online from the States.. but it's like RM300+ at least This post has been edited by ChocChristy: Jul 26 2012, 07:17 PM |

I would like to suggest you to go to customize the shoes you like. You can tell the shoe maker which design do you like and ask him/her to make a bigger one.

Have you tried Staccato?
Otherwise I would shop online such as www.asos.com Europe and american stores normally have larger sizes, plus the style you can get is much nicer! |

Check out Hawkeye in Jusco outlet. Now they carry larger size till 41 and sometimes but you have to check whether they have stocks or not. Price range from 40+ to 80+ if not wrong.
Another one is Princess http://www.princess.com.my Recently I saw that they have nicer collections of high heels i think either sungai wang or the mall opposite of pwtc. good quality heels for plus size shoes cos i have few pairs that last for more than a year or two price range from 60-200+ happened to found these http://www.zalora.com.my/women/shoes/shoes/princess/ http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1...03831587&type=3 This post has been edited by apocalypxe: Aug 6 2012, 01:26 PM |

Princess you say? I should check it out! Where is it located in PJ or KL? Though I am really only trying to find plain flats without all those fancy stuff >.<
Oh wait, they are at Tropicana city mall!. So gonna check it out On a side note, I found a very good website that has very cheap shoes for all sizes http://www.alonai.com/ The thing is that... the shipping price can end up being more expensive than the shoes themselves >.< This post has been edited by ChocChristy: Aug 7 2012, 02:17 PM |
