umm, just wanna ask... does the expanded director's cut of The Expendables has all the special features brought over from the theatrical version release?
i read somewhere that the commentary by Sly was excluded!
i'm thinking of ordering the DC (always a preferred choice!) but would love if it is complete with all the features from the norm version.. btw, i'm referring to the US release
Director's Cut*Introduction by Sylvester Stallone (HD; 2:32). Sly talks about second- and even third-guessing his instincts during the original editing process and how proud he is of this new, supposedly improved, version.
*Action: The Expendables (1080i; 20:33) is a Spike TV special on the film.
*Sinner's Prayer Music Video by Sully Erna (HD; 3:47)
*Sylvester Stallone: A Director in Action (HD: 20:21) includes interviews with Stallone as well as on set action.
*Inferno: The Making of The Expendables (HD; 1:31:42) is the same in-depth featurette on the film which was included on the theatrical cut Blu-ray release.
original theatrical cut
*A surprisingly funny and informative Commentary from Stallone.
*Ultimate Recon Mode, a PIP feature that includes large swaths of Stallone's commentary with a wealth of picture in picture background material.
*Comic Con 2010 Panel (1080i; 45:29) a fun interview segment with the principal stars.
*Inferno: The Making of 'The Expendables' (HD; 1:31:42) a nicely in-depth look at the history of this project, including Stallone's own admission that he's past the days of carrying an action film by himself.
*From the Ashes: Post Production (HD; 26:36), a shorter but equally interesting look at editing and the like.
*Gag Reel (SD; 5:03).
*Deleted Scene (SD; 00:45), a brief snippet of Lundgren chewing the scenery from the opening Somali segment. Sorry, Dolph, no Oscar this time.
*Marketing Archive, which contains the Trailer, TV Spots, and PR Posters.
