My vote will got to CM 53+ series as it comes with dual 12CM fan ...other than that both series are similar such as tool less design and HDD cage...

size are also similar ... the design of side panel is a bit different for non window version.

errr, sori la, i didn't state my centurion model, i didn't use the centurion 5, i used the centurion 534, so have the same intake/exhaust fan, one front 120mm fan + 2 exhaust fan (one rear 120mm fan & psu exhaust fan)

still wondering what makes the temp drop & better air flow, everything the same except the casing itself....
*
wouldn't the HDD cage area causes noise ??

i had CM530 last time and i really hate when the 12CM fan is place at the front for front intake as it makes a lot of noise .. in the end i remove the cage and it becomes much more silence...

anyway not using the case anymore ... transfer to another owner...

yup, it does, the front intake fan is noisier than rear exhaust fan even they both are the same model fan...

the fan is too close to the fan filter, that's causing the noise...

anyway, will try to further the distance for it to lessen the noise, cause when i take out the fan filter the noise reduced a lot, being almost dead silent like the rear fan...

any idea how i can furter the distance? (except using the fan silencer by Sunbeam or other brand) hands.gif
*
i have thought of cutting the case fan holes to make it clean from any obstacle which would generate lesser noise ... but dont know it actually work or not ... sweat.gif

i wish to get V1100PlusII as well. but not sure when i can actually settle down .... still hunting for job and don't know it would be here or somewhere else.... doh.gif

the fan holes already a hole, meaning no design or whatever, that the best of Lian Li's case, they just included the fan filter for it, thinking wanna replace the filter & change it to fan grill rclxms.gif

What i mean was for the CM 520 casing ...

of course i know the lian li case come with clear blow hole for the case and cover with dust filter on the front and back ..

anyway still i would hope that can settle down early and get my dream case ....

What u can do when dealing with the cleaning the filter is using air can spray or blow it with ur mouth .... blow the dust out from the filter try it several times ....surely the filter become clean ...

Dish drop in water would not help much and may cause the filter become loose ... cannot filter tiny dust...vacuum also wont work ''' tried before ....

the best is to have mesh filter ... can clean it anytime by wiping the surface only ... no hassle ....

c5 has mesh than the sponge, water can cause the sponge to be loose?
*
becoz each time u wash it u need to spray with water to clear of the dust from the trapped area... thus it would become loosen after few time of washing ..

too bad u cant get acer casing anywhere unless u got other lubang ...

Elite 331 seems to be good but just like other 53+ series ...

there is no problem beside difficulty in hiding the cables for cable management ..

i think any other 53+ series will do also ..... but still the outlook design is up to you to decide....

hmm .. maybe u could email CM for the difference of weight between the two cases...

the most visible difference is CM5 is taller than elite ... which more or less contribute to the added weight ...

hmmm .. like u said .. changing the intake fan is the fastest solution ..

or grab a HDD cage that support 12 cm fan which fit to the optical drive bay area...

hmm .. then what u could do is to do red and orange color UV theme..

grab some fans with the UV reactive feature.... then sleeve those visible cable into the desire UV color .....place UV CCFL ....

wala... that's one way to go .... if u would like to add more maybe could do UV fluorescents sticker cutting and pasting on the mobo capasistor...or add one UV fan grill at the rear exhaust fan...

it should overall match the UV theme wanted .. anyway which color of the mystique u got ? silver or black ... ??? if silver than u could use blue and white color...

i am not particularly certain about CM5 but when i was using CM530 ..

there are two pieces of rail support that u could just attach it to the HDD through the default screw hole...

after that just slide it back to the HDD cage which there are specific rail to fit nicely ..

therefore due to the fix alignment of the rail .. i didn't able to reverse mount as one end would be slightly out that the cables may exceed the other side... especially sata cable... for pata it should be able ..

It looks brilliant with two color theme .. one color on top while another at bottom ..

the only downside again is the messy cables...
