Although both cars the price bracket is quite huge, that doesn't mean the Fiesta is a better car. In terms of driving comfort and smoothness, the Myvi is easily better than the Fiesta. A dual clutch might do wonders on a race track, but in a city drive, it is a pain in the ass to drive. It will keep on lurch and jerk and also in gear hunting mode, couldn't decide on which gear it should stay on.

May I ask a if I change the oem HU to an aftermarket HU, will the steering controller button features be connected or able to function again? If no, will there be any gadget to enabling the connection works like oem?

if im not mistaken, some of the aftermarket HUs are already have socket to be connected to the steering..
*
wow, really rclxm9.gif ...this just too great as i'm very particular of having good sound especially driving alone to outstation duties! Thanks bro smile.gif

Any owners here have change aftermarket HU & controlling via the steering buttons to further justify this statement?

Aiyoo-yoo, all those steering locks cutting looked simple & easy just for any1 to learn & do it, wow...worry then sweat.gif

well, i guess need to put in extra precaution like changing the ignition key lock, pedal lock eg. locktact, fuel line cut, NRG steering lock release (car will be without steering like F1 brows.gif ) & more manual pedal locks!

Finally, received my awesome yellow myvi 1.5 (m) car today with all checks looked marvellous working condition! Immediately, driving on seremban-kl hghway already due need outstation & doing a steady 110-120km feels. Quite on the light side when cruising at 110km, slight swaying but manageable:) Can't complain i guess due eveything from A - Z are stock standard, fresh from the dealer yards.

Touch wood, no noise heard from all compartment as I have another pair of ears helping me to scrutinize such new delivered car:)...let see how when I'm on my way back to kl this evening yah:)

Oh yah, the manual gear stick seems pretty toyish feel, not as firm as my previous 10yrs gti firm feel...guess have to get use of it, from a performance sport hatch to now, 4doors hatchback family car...

wah new car already runs until 110-120?
*
well, can't afford slowing down at some stretch due to big vehicles squeezing here & there. Need overtake ler & when open road comes, can't resist the temptation of accelerating more speed...so, all in here & there, 120km liow without realizing it!

Other than that, radio reception is great eventhough reaced seremban areas & noticed that the tyres are goodyear, giving some assurance & confident to propel faster - mind playing tricks i guess. Wow, folding side mirror giving some luxury feel though brows.gif

Its not imposible bro, but hard to get.. Go change to 15", plenty performance tires to choose from... Price also very decent for the performance ur getting
*
ok, but upgrading aftermarket sport rims will it consider voiding any warranty of my car as afterall it is only 2 days old today woh smile.gif

...good way to start of as I covered outstation trip yesterday morning, dry road & on my way back at home, dark plus rain...this given me every possible opportunity to test out all equipments/gadgets & all seem working up to expectation rclxms.gif ...no whatever sound too icon_rolleyes.gif ...but just a short 1 day trip already gathered 180km trip record after right out from dealer's yard hmm.gif

No, won't void. Rims and tires consider wear and tear item, they won't replace for free even if you break your rims and go to them for warranty. Unless there is a manufacturing defect.
*
Huh, very poisonous loh & pocket would further drying up quickly than expected if this is the sweet case brows.gif ...ok, if going for 15" rims, what tyre size should be an ideal buy, 55 series or 50 series without hitting the wheel arch banana leaf? Can kindly advise please smile.gif

15" even on 55 wont hit fender.. Just get correct offset... go offset 40 above will do.. Go change quickly since ur car tires n rims still brand new from factory, can get better price for trade in
*
wow ikiey, you're indeed poisoning me lah, argh-argh...ok, ok, have to weight my pocket see possible to do it today or tomorrow or not yah, sweet drool.gif
