already set Homescreen to 2 screen and only clock widget n icons.. no other widget!...
when open appsdrawer also can see it lag when browsing apps!

anybody here play plant vs zombies? same problem or not?

btw, i recommend him this fon after read here and play wit it at SenQ.. but when i play demo set @senQ... i also fell butterly smooth!... that y i recommend him...

Sygic is a better GPS than Papago, but Papago can use malfreemap (local community map) which has more POI. POI is important if you like to search for tower/places by name.

Moreover, for unknown reason, Sygic can only find nearby POI. So, if you are in KL, and would like to find something in PD, you will not find it.

I keep both GPS in my SGW.

Weird... All demo sets I played with has lots of widgets yet never lag. Most user here said it's smooth too. At least in UI. For games, refer C@CAMBO or COWITHGUN. I think they got tonnes of games, even the HD ones. W handle them quite well based on what I read in this forum so far. Wait for their clarification.

I am using stock ROM and launcher. No lag.

No unresponsiveness. But screen went weird if incoming call during game play = yes.

I dont have this issue. What if you copy the mp3s to your device memory and see?

already transfer to PC>format the sdcard at fon > transfer back to sdcard...

videos n mp3 can play at PC..

after reboot, it can play but after a while, it become unrecognizable by fon... when select it dia buat bodo jer... when long press also no menu appear like usual!...

already sent to samsung centre.... still same problem...

maybe need to RMA?

if you use Terminal Emulator, must use "su"... with Platform SDK, no need root.

Do note however, this will only set the "preferred" install location to external sd card. It will affect app / game that does not have any particular preference on install location. Some app (ie: widget) can still chose to be installed to device memory, etc.

Also, it will not affect data files that a game must download. For example, you set the installLocation to 2, then, you download and install Eternal Legacy from Market. The APK (program) will be stored in external sd card. But when you start the game, it will required to download files from Internet. These files are not affected by the installLocation. In this case, it will be downloaded in a fixed /sdcard/gameloft .

What I mean is, you try play from the Device memory / USB Storage directly. Use "My files" to transfer the MP3 to /sdcard/media and try play from there?

I suspect problem with the SD Card...

ya, i saw Ace plus too... 1ghz CPU... meh... duno why they still launch new Ace since SGW is so much more powerful...

Yup, got a lot of HD games... all play smoothly.

For those experience lag in HD games (especially those 3d game like Shadowgun), try use "ChainFire3d" to reduce the texture size for better performance.

Erm... So.. You mean this won't work for GL games right?

Ace is around for nearly a year while W is just 2 months+... I don't think Samsung product cycle is merely 3~6 months. IMO, W won't get successor that soon.

Your soon is not so soon lar. Ace launch early last year. Almost a year then only got Ace plus... SGW just launched recently...

W got ICS a not? i still haven't decided.

Ya, the file manager in SGW is called "My files"

Most likely no official ICS. I actually not waiting for it at all. I like Cyanogen 9! Look like it is on the way...
