The different between stock 2.3.6 ROM and cow 2.3.6 ROM is that the later one doensn't have 2nd layer memory (internal usb storage) any longer. Could that might be case that cause yours to failed? Does having external sd during the procedurs make any differences?

Frm my own experience .6 is smoother and faster in term of scrolling thru the apps installed. before, it was laggy when switching between all the 'desktop'. No more force closes. I'm glad that samsung come with new update very fast (compare with sony ericsson).

Why is your usb storage bigger than sd card? it shud be the other way around

If your dealer failed to pass the warranty, you can do it by yourself. All you nid to do is to email to this email address ewarranty.sme@samsung.com. Please attach the purchase receipt (I just shoot it with my SGW ) , your phone imei number and your contact number. I did this and I got the confirmation within 2 days from samsung.

I have tried that before, but something wrong with samsung website. There is no provision to register smartphone, kinda incomplete. Can't submit anything. That's why I did that way ( was told by samsung support). Funny isn't it?

Yeah, email it to ewarranty.sme@samsung.com. Before I got confirmation email samsung e-warranty, they sent a sms from 62005. You can call samsung service consultant at 1800-88-9999.

I'm on digi too. it works fine on 3G or HSDPA. Digi signal not very reliable. sumtimes it kinda freeze and it always changing from E to HSDPA eventho you are not moving around.
