Dark/Black background, Black tee-shirt and Black drums ... err ... don't really stand out from the crowd. You'll need something more eye-catching for the judges to notice you first; amongst all the other contestants. The guy who had his drums setup outdoors at night and the other guy who had lights in his drums; are among the few that stood out and grab your attention. And then there is another guy who hit his cymbals with his drumsticks [suddenly I thought of chicken drumsticks ... damn ... i must be hungry again!!] pointing downwards. IMHO, in the event of a tie, personal style will determine whether the vote goes to you or the other guy. But first impression always determine whether you are amongst the front runners. Having said that, I wish you the best of luck. Personally, I would have attached some reflective stickers to the drumsticks. It'll give the impression that the sticks are going really fast at the drums  Hahaha ... but then, that's just me.  Btw, thanks for the comments, really appreciate it.
