tried something in my mother's garden today!! rubbing my lens all over it, because can't get a clean enough background....... 30mm does not seem like a good macro choice....should have gone with 90mm, but hey its rm290 can't complain la ahhahaha

hahhaa william poisoning with A77.... anyway straight lines in a picture is damn hard to compose....is it because of barrel distortion or because the camera is not exactly 90 degrees parallel??

albnok, thanks for the input...when i re-look at the pic....noticed on my height..... i used the lightroom "crop" function to realign the lines instead....is the dxo equivalent?

sometimes i wish my view finder can toggle the guide lines on and off in the ovf

QUOTE(lwliam @ Feb 15 2012, 05:31 PM)
Porkchop, just because albnok questioned your composition and you deduced that it's a compositional error. No offence to albnok, but does his questioning indicates that his views are right? Porkchop, u took the shot, you framed it yourself, why don't you have a personal opinion on what your work turned out? Have confidence in your own work instead. Challenge yourself to do better, ask yourself why did u frame it like that in the 1st place.

thanks for the feedback, wiliam, ier and albnok....colour dun comment la...its like this cos I am making the colour to a mood that I felt suited for the environment....but about composition, when i took the picture i recall my composition really got problem (Ps: in fact all my shots have compo problem)...i think its cause i did not expect what to shoot before the session.....(i.e cannot imagine how the shots should come out) i was talking to my colleague he says if u go for a shoot without an idea or image of roughly what you want, normally your composition will be about everything u see at that point of time...making it hard to get shots to make a theme

Ps: wanna ask before going for a shoot, do u all research like what kind of shots u want to get??
