Like Times Square in HK, also many storey but they segmentised it very well so that specify floor cater for specific category and there are many lifts at the main entrance with clear signboards. U can straight away choose the floor u want to go to for your target shopping. if window shopping up to u lah

Sometimes it is not whether there is a walkway, the more important consideration before u start to walk on the walkway is : is it safe to walk through it and come out safely??

Boss, HK different ma...the MRT network is so efficient that you can visit few shopping malls in 1 day by MRT but in KL cannot imagine driving thru jam and fighting for carparks in order to visit more than 1 shopping mall a day. Further, you will notice the human traffic flow in HK is so heavy everywhere due to the high density of population/visitors per shopping district. Because of their small apartments, most HK people will "lepak" in the streets whenever possible and only go back to sleep or rest. All these reasons are contributing to the very high human traffic for retail outlets in HK

Rental is also so absurdly high which has been driving even HK restaurants away from ground level shops to non-ground level units in commercial/office building, not even shopping mall. Surprising these restaurants can do well and acceptable by the consumers. In KL, the impression of a restaurant not on ground floor is already perceived as "no good" one...

KL does not have the above factors to promote vertical malls. It will be interesting to see how Robertzai handle theirs...maybe can set the first precedent in KL
