QUOTE(gorillaz_113 @ Sep 12 2012, 05:19 PM) if put sponge or fabric then it no longer able to skim the film oil? In my opinion i blieve that its not so important to use surface skimmer for freshwater since u will rarely see it unless for saltwater then it is important..or if u like to soak your hand hehe..dont u have any plant in your tank? maybe u can clean the surface by using paper only.. Added on September 12, 2012, 5:31 pmQUOTE(Cherlyn @ Sep 12 2012, 01:56 PM) I have a fire red tank with shrimplets..My tank is a planted tank with soil...This morning i found some worm like thingy inside..very tiny bt long..any idea how to get rid of it b4 it get rid of my shrimps? if it is planaria, there will be some risk that it will harm your shrimp, then u can ask bro arrow for his 'no planaria'. if it is only nematode, then there will be no harm to your shrimp, only sickening your view..hehe This post has been edited by darthsyaz: Sep 12 2012, 05:31 PM

QUOTE(fishman @ Dec 10 2012, 09:27 AM) I had many of them too, then i put in a few fish (cloud mountain minnows) and the next morning, all clear. Am afraid if they harm my shrimplet.. I think im going to try dwarf guppy..but still afraid QUOTE(arrow @ Dec 10 2012, 06:11 PM) actually i don't get rid of them as they help eat off excess foods, but sometime they get population boom i just vacuum they off but never eradicate them all. The other bro. suggest use fish, good idea also but boraras fish won't eat them. If use vacuum, will the ammonia spike?
