is rili shrimp and aura blue shrimp very expensive?

Guyz what is the initial range of ph by using ADA new amazonia soil?I dont have pH test kit and 1st time using ADA soil. Age of the tank is around 2month already without co2 injection.Previously i using GEX.

Rili shrimps are not expensive. Unless u are aiming for those high grades. From my experience....i still prefer breeding fire red or chocolate shrimps.
Rili colors are not that attractive to me...half red half transparent....If you would want to breed shrimps. I suggest u remove ur CO2 system.

Personally i dont prefer java moss as the branch too thin, use picture below from my moss collection for comparison when choosing moss for shrimps.the most recent is taiwan moss.

you are not alone, me too, only left 8 out 11,
but one of them is berried now, I keeping them in a chilled 200L 3ft tank with crs, although more water = more stable parameter but it also a two sided blade, it is much harder to target feed and dose additive. they have tons of algae to feed on, dont even touch my more expensive shrimps food.

I wonder y mine cannot survive....it's a two feet tank. They ve been with me for like three months. Did have a few females berried. Saw some shrimplets...but the breeding rate is very low. While the adults are disappearing from time to time...now onli left three... cry.gif
